According to Amazon, you Save US$50.00 (63%) by purchasing this game.

Exclusive Digital Content; Play as an Imperial; White Imperial Horse-Summon and journey through Tamriel; Mudcrab Vanity Pet; Rings of Mara-Complete with a friend and receive an experience bonus when you play together.

Since it is a digital download where the code is given on purchase (plus sent via email) a US billing address is required. Personally I recommend finding a large institute (e.g. University of California, Berkeley) and using their address & phone number. The system only cares that the "billing" address is in USA, not the "delivery" address or the CC used for the purchase.

All that said, I don't play and likely won't purchase, I'm only posting because I've never seen the Imperial Edition this cheap.

  • How is this game doing these days? Still a lot of people online (including Aussies)?

  • If anyone wants just the standard edition, you can get it cheaper here: http://www.cdkeys.com/pc/games/the-elder-scrolls-online-pc-c…

  • After paying the original RRP for this Edition, I can safely say $30 is about all it's worth. Beautiful game, horrid guild, economy and crafting systems (well, the last time I played - got sick of the ridiculousness of the AH and trading).

    • I hear it's much the same, far too many bugs and exploits, etc. I was one of those who played all the Beta's and did meticulous reporting on various issues I found, turns out they didn't listen to any of us as the game shipped with all these problems still intact. My favourite was always the ALT+F4 when loading a character, could get endless hireling packages sent with awesome stuff.

Above all else, it was their support which turned me off purchasing after Beta. It was, and from what I've read still is, abysmal. Even EA would be hard press showing such a low level of care to it's customers.

I guess it couldn't be long before the game oges F2P.

That's pretty much what I experienced. Everyone was working hard in Beta with the input and then it just went nowhere. I couldn't stand the promotion of 3rd party sites to perform tasks that should just be no brainers in game (like searching the AH for classes of items). And the idea of joining 5 guilds in the hope of trading something to someone for something you wanted because the gold balance was stuffed.

Yeah, a real shame. Just playing Skyrim and waiting for ES6 tbh now.

        • I see on Steam a person can only comment if they own the game, must have had too much hate mail :)
