Just had a look at the new BigW Catalogue starting Thursday and they have the New Nintendo 3DS XL with Paper Mario for $238, $9 more than just the console at target.
They also had the wave 2 Amiibos for $15, though i'm sure target will have them at $14 again anyway.

        I had success with price matching Target at JB earlier in the year with the Wii U bundles that had Skylanders and Mario Kart in them. Can't say whether it's a consistent policy or just the store or sales person I spoke to.

          If EB has the exact same bundle for sale they will price match, but they won't match a bundle that they don't have

    Not too sure if this is still on… but i remember seeing that you can trade your 3ds xl for $100 @ ebgames.

    Follow by a price match to Big W should be good…. I haven't tried it but worth seeing if it works.

      Went into eb today and that offer is no longer on. :( The man said the 3dsxl old console trade in value is $80, $75 if you don't provide the charger.

    Really strange that Big W are continuing on with bundling the new 3DS XL with Paper Mario. A lot of Big W's weren't able to sell the bundle when it first appeared as there were no copies of Paper Mario, and only a few of the stores allowed another game to be substituted.

    Good current price for the Amiibos, but the cheapest they've previously been were at JB for $11.5 pricematched + using 20% off voucher.

      Shame that 20% voucher is apparently all done now. Even tried generating a new one and no such luck. Seems a lot of people are not getting any when signing up for the free trial anymore.

        Unfortunately yes. The next best price for these is $14 if you pricematch between Kmart/BigW/Target which is still fairly good, but the extra $2.5/figure quickly adds up if you are planning to buy them all (Total $406 for all 29 figs @$14 each).

    Those amiibo except for mario most of them were sold in my local ebgames, target, and big w. I managed to find link in kmart luckily. Are they really so popular to the extend sold out almost everywhere? I bought one but not knowing what exactly does it do except you can use the character in certainly games?

      It does different things depending on the game. Off the top of my head, Hyrule Warriors, Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros support them currently, with each game using them for something different. Smash Bros for example it brings in an extra character into a fight, where Mario Kart it gives Mii racers a new costume. I suspect half the purchases right now are just ending up on display shelves more than anything.
