    20% off 119.99 is $95.99 just saying.

Also, Website says normal price is $129.99. So this is 23% off. maybe I shouldnt say anything :-)

  • Maybe do the math right as well? Do you remember what the previous price was? So is it 23% or 16% off?

    Edit: Beaten to it.

Aaaand, there's a massive lack of detail on the site. There's more in your post above. Which reads like spam, to be honest.

No-one in their right mind would buy this without some basic information.

Consider answering - How big is the backpack, dimensions, what sort of devices fit in it, how big is the battery that stores the solar power, what is the rating of the solar panel, how many power outputs, what sort of connectors are included. Does it offer standard USB ports so you can use your own cables ?

    Less marketing, more information mate.

Clicking on images from the homepage should take you to the product page, not the jpg image of what you clicked on.

    Sheeesh.

And since starting to type this comment, you've added more info on the site - which is exactly the same as your post above now. <SIGH>

  • There is a link in the description which will tell you more about the product DJ. 1 is not far from 2 on the keyboard. It was a typo, 23% is the discounted price which is my bad. The description for backpack is added on the website. I will update the Power outputs, connectors are included with it yes and It offers the standard USB so that you can use your own standard cable as well. I will also allow you to charge the battery incase there is no Sun in the sky.

I do apologize for lack of information.

No dramas mate, just maybe get your website up to speed before posting here. As you know, the page you linked to in your post was extremely sparse, it's getting a bit better every few minutes :-).

I'd say most of your views are going to come within the first hour of posting here, and you want people to click the "+" that they like the deal. That's not going to happen until you get the info there that people want, and make it easy to access.

You'll need an ABN somewhere too, I think.

  • Cheers Mate :) I shall pass this onto web master.

Is it safe to take this solar backpack on a plane? In other words, will they allow this on a plane?

    • Yes uminan, it is perfectly safe to take it on the plane, this product is CE and RoHS compliant and yes it will be allowed on the plane. :)

      • -1

But will it work on a plane?

        • This solar fabric does require the sunlight and planes don't get rich rays of sunlight. We cannot say for sure that it will capture the sunlight through the small window (as we have not tested it inside planes) but it allows you to charge the built-in battery if there is no sunlight and 1 hour of exposure to sun fully charges the battery.

If you sit on the wing, you should be OK ;-)

        • @mostlygordon: That should work too ;) but one might have to watch for the cape :P

  • I want to kangaroo-jack…this solar backpack!

Now if only you can create a backpack that converts sunlight to beer..

    • Swap the panels for barley, and fill with water.
