I'll summarise the steps involved:
- Go to www.colouryoursummer.com.au on your Smartphone
- Click "Colour Your Summer"
- Take a photo or upload a photo of 6x new coloured coke cans (Hint see the desktop version of the site on a computer)
- Let it upload (if it fails it will return to the main home screen)
- If it loads a small game, you lost. Otheriwise it will ask for Facebook login or Coke login/register an account and inform you of your win.
10 entries per Facebook account or Coke account per day (Note that it doesn't require the login until you win)

That just means you have the right colour for the day. (1 in 3-6 chance), but then there needs to be an unclaimed prize available ( on average one prize becomes available every 40 minutes or so).
So you now need to get the right colour within probably a minute of a prize being released to win it. There would be at minimum 100 ppl playing in this r40 minute period now.).

Close to wins means you did everything right.. But there were np released prizes. Use "snap more cams" to get you back to the load photo page, don't "arrange cans on the screen". Always load a pic or take s photo of cans. ( I suggest waiting at least 10mins before trying again. The comp is me about luck .

That only comes up on the first time you submit a 'winning' entry on an account. But then getting that msg does not mean you have won. There are four scenarios when you submit an entry.
Did not satisfy the winning combination requirement for the day. Takes you to a minigame, no msg.
Satisfied the requirement, Whoa! You might have won and asks for your login. But then the prize allocated for that time bracket has already been won by someone else, so you didn't actually win and you get the Oops! msg and a minigame.
Same as above, except you got to the prize before everyone else, you'll get a You Win! msg and a form to enter your address and contact detail.
Regardless of a winning entry or not, you are asked to give your DOB. From my experience, you can't actually win a prize if you get this. Just make sure whatever you enter for DOB will make you 18+.
Note: the first time you submit a winning entry, you are asked to enter your name and gender, the information is then recorded on the system for all future wins on that account.
As far as we know, prizes are allocated to time brackets, you have to be the first person to submit a winning entry for that bracket to actually win something.

I've won quite a few prizes in this comp mostly during the first 2 months it was running….just wondering how people have worked out the coke can combination can determine whether you get a chance to win or not as I've just used the same photo of my cans over and over again had have won on them! I've always thought it was entirely random that as long as you had a can combination it accepted ok (any colours) and happened to be the first to enter at the right time when the prize is going off you won!
Contacted Coca-Cola on their Facebook page. Looks like they don't even know that their website is down. Here is the response I got from them

Hi all, I only heard about this competition yesterday as I'm a big fan of Troye Sivan and he posted about it on facebook. Do you guys think there's still a chance at one of his concerts? Certainly some must be gone by now, even though the winners page hasn't been updated. I've gathered from the comments you can use all 6 of the same cans, I'm using a combo that gave me a woah for the past like 4 hours, haven't got anything yet, should I change it to all 6? If anyone hears of someone that wins and doesn't really want it happy to pay anything to get my hands on some of those tickets :) Any advice would be really appreciated! Thanks!

The colours that are accepted as a valid entry combo for the day are usually on rotation. The cycle is: Red & Orange – Pink & Blue – Green & Purple
This is almost 100% besides a few days there that the combos didn’t change over or the day that any combo would be valid (including pictures that weren’t of coke cans). This is helpful so that you don’t waste time guessing the new combo for the day.- Popular “winning times”
Some say they have worked out the system, some are just lucky, but are there really certain times of the day or night that are better than others?
Yes and No. By reading the terms and conditions it basically says that the first person to upload the correct combo once the prize has been released, will win the prize. I thought about this and with the sheer amount of people entering surely the prize release times, “random” as they are, would still have a small delay/gap. Let’s say we have won at 1:05pm on more than 1 occasion, but you try that specific time every day and you never win again or for a long time, would that mean that you were just lucky? I don’t think so. We aren’t just counting minutes here but seconds. Now instead of listing all the “hot” winning times that may or may not be set, (and basically give people even less chance of winning), I give you this tip. This is mainly for people who have won a few times already, but check your email notification of your prizes. I have a 3 minute delay from when I actually win and the email time. Write down these times and try use your entries at these times. There may be up to a 1 minute gap either way. I have been using this technique just this week and I have won 4 items at the exact time each day.
FYI the actual prize won was different on some of the days and others it was identical. Another quick tip is to not be discouraged when you see someone post they just won, even if it’s a few minutes or more off your previous “winning” times.

Also just to be clear, I have only worked on this method this week. It may be coincidence but from my results I really doubt it.- The Enter your date of birth page
Not much to say here but make sure you enter it correctly. The tip is that when you get this page after you have uploaded a combo, even if it was correct combo, you will not get the “Whoa” page. Enter straight after as soon as possible using a different correct combo. For some reason I have had many wins by doing this, no matter what time or day. It may take a few shots after you enter but it is usually within 1-2 minutes of entering your date of birth.
- Prize release time gap
Briefly, you may see people commenting that they have won consecutive wins by entering x amount of minutes after their first win, I have seen 30 or 40 minutes as being common. There is definitely a gap, but I can confirm myself that I have won within minutes of a previous win. I am talking under 10 minutes, not 30+.
Basically this covers the point from above, don’t be discouraged if you see someone has just won, it doesn’t mean the prize has been locked away for another 30+ minutes. In saying this, people would probably swear by a certain time gap (I have tried this as well).- Image not detected
This seems to be happening more and more lately. The majority of the time the server has either gone down or something on cokes end has failed. This isn’t always the case though and I am getting this error nearly every day now. To check if it is my phone or if it is the coke page I do 2 things. First I switch to airport mode on my phone and then toggle it off again. I also close my browser window with the coke comp page and then quit and re-launch my browser. Just in case anyone else has this, it’s worth a try.
- Facebook or Coke rewards login?
I have found that both have an equal chance at winning. The big difference here is, due to the prize release times and time gaps, the Coke rewards login takes an extra few seconds. If you select Facebook login you will then be entered to the results screen. With the Coke rewards login you will be directed to the login page where you will need to input your email and password.
Every second Coke rewards login will be automatic, so if you had to manually type in your email and password for the previous goes, the next go will automatically load to the results screen.
This is crucial if you are using the popular winning times method. If you are right on the edge of the time cut off you may wish to opt for a FB login or do a quick manual Coke rewards login a few minutes before so you know it will auto fill on your next shot.- That was close game glitch
This one is interesting. I mainly noticed it when I was trying certain winning times and I had no wins and was nearly out of all my tries. I looked at the actual game that loaded when I didn’t win and it was the same game every time. Now I have had the same game multiple times before, but this was happening every try (15+). I ended up doing the same steps I would do above from when I was getting the image error and this cleared it up.
Quick Tips & Other things:
Make sure you have a FB linked account and a Coke rewards account. This will give you a maximum of 20 entries per day. I know others have made more accounts but I think 20 entries is more than enough for one day of entering, it's fair and you don't want it to take over your life ;)
Each day the combination that will give you an "Entry" into the competition is comprised of 6 coloured coke cans in a specific order. Really all it relies on is the correct colour at the end of your 6 can image. Each day 2 of the 6 colours are picked as the “Entry” combo. For example, today's combos that will give you an entry are red or orange at the end of your 6 can image. Each day the "Entry" combos will change and 2 new colours are usually picked.
A user pointed out that instead of making up your own pictures of various can combos, you could just use an image of 6 cans of the same colour.
If you have the right combo you will see a "Whoa" page with the option to login via FB or Coke Rewards. This does not mean you have won anything yet, but it means that you have the correct combo for the day and you are now in the running for an instant prize. If you simply get a page with a game then the combo you have used is incorrect and I would stop using that combo for the day. (The other reason why you may get a game even if you have the correct combo is if you have used that combo within 10 minutes, please try the other colour combo for the day).
Once you log in it will tell you if you have won or not. If you have won a prize it will display a congrats page with the prize pictured. If you did not win you will see a page that says "Ooh, that was close! You didn’t win this time, but here’s a little something for having a go:” and the little something is simply a game just like when you enter the wrong combo.Each combo can only be used once every 10 minutes. If you have the 2 “entry” combos for the day you can alternate between each one if you want to enter within 10 minutes since your last combo. (Check above for more than 2 combos per 10 minutes)
Some suggest that they have won prizes within 10-30 minutes of each other, while others have suggested it could be a 40-60 minute gap between prizes.
This has been confirmed, within 10-30 minutes of a previous prize or less.If you get a page that asks you to input your date of birth after you have uploaded the “entry” combo for the day, (for me) this usually renders your combo useless. For example, if all orange is the correct combo to get an entry and I upload it, if I get a date of birth entry page, the next page will simply be a game just like I would get if the combo was incorrect. This “can” be confusing and could lead to thinking you have the wrong combo. If you get this, just wait the 10 minutes and try again. The 10 minute delay is because it seems it also marks the combo as used even though you didn’t get to the “Whoa” page.
It is fine to use the same file over and over again. I myself and others have a set of 6 images, each different colour sets (All blue, all pink etc) and have won multiple times.
I have not seen a need to clear any cookies or reset anything between tries.
If you are having issues of the “entry” combo not registering and you have waited 10 minutes, your image is clear and you didn’t get a birth date entry page in between you may try quitting out of your browser or turning your phone off and on again. Clearing cookies may also help but I have not tried this.If you ever get an error and it asks for you to manually enter the combination by dragging the coke cans to the places above, DO NOT do this. In the t&c’s point 8: “For the avoidance of doubt, Eligible Entrants may be able to manually enter a combination of Coloured Cans using the functions provided on the microsite however manually entering a combination of codes will not constitute an entry into this Competition.”
Basically you are wasting a try. Just hit the back button and try again.This competition can only be entered on a mobile phone or tablet in order to be eligible for a prize. Yes you can easily change your user agent on a PC to make the website think you are on a mobile while using your PC, but for the small amount of ease it provides, you wouldn’t want coke to disqualify you from the comp.
From the t&c’s point 6 “For the avoidance of doubt, entry is via compatible smartphone only and entries cannot be submitted online via a desktop computer.”When using the Coke Rewards login, I find that every second login, it will automatically load without me actually entering any text. I am not sure if this is just me or it happens for others. Either way it doesn’t seem to effect the outcome.
Some prizes are “time sensitive”. This means that if won, you will need to be available asap. This also means that if you haven’t won the major prizes that are time sensitive, you probably aren’t going to now. One of the Havana Brown prizes date has already passed. There are however a few big prizes such as the Vamps etc have not been determined yet and have a window of eta dates. Even with saying this, most of the big prizes have already been won as reported on here and on the lottos site.
All major prizes have been won with the exception of the Troye Sivan prizes which we have no confirmation of but it looks like these are the last major prizes to be released in Feb.I usually find that when my entry is loading, if the progress bar is quick and the page loads up within seconds, I have usually missed out. If it stalls or takes a bit longer, I seem to either have won or exceeded my entries for the day. This could be due to the same “Ooh, that was close” page being cached and the “prize” page being loaded dynamically.
There have been times where the server is overloaded or even down for a little while. When this happens it is best to keep trying, yes it could probably make things slower but you don’t want to miss out when it comes back up.
Some say to try during the early hours, some say stay away on weekends. I think now with the sheer amount of people entering, just try your luck when you can. I have won at all times of the day and wouldn’t recommend any specific time is better or worse.

I won prize “x”, how do I redeem it?
If you win a physical prize such as a set of headphones or an ice watch you will be required to enter your address at the winning prize page on your mobile. Simply fill in the details and your item should arrive in the post within about 7-10 days (28 days is quoted in the terms). Some people have received things fast from the eastern states but it may take longer for other areas.
The colour of your item is Random! Yes you may get pink, you may get green but for people who have won multiple items around the same timeframe have reported that they have received different colours. If the winning page freezes and you don’t get to enter your personal details, simply follow these instructions: “Please call 1800 283 391 if your prize has not arrived in 28 days, or if you have any questions.”Culture Kings voucher: You will be emailed the code that is displayed on your mobile screen. Go to www.culturekings.com.au online and once you add an item to your “bag” click on the green “to checkout” button. Wow, I can't believe I overlooked the time thing! I lost a few of the reward emails as Outlook automatically empties my trash, but the four I had left all had the same time!!! Yeh I took screenshots whenever I won something and eventually noticed they were all similar times past the hour when won.
Got so excited when I realised it. Then tried again and never won at the same times again.
Sometimes the emails come through in 2 minutes, sometimes it takes 15 minutes so not sure if it's possible to predict.
I think I'm the only one not really seeing a pattern. Have won 20+ times and just wrote down most of the times I won but can't notice any pattern
I think the point that 4892 is trying to make is that the prize comes at a particular time, and the win comes sometime after that time. As long as no one has beaten you to the prize, it can be won on the time or several minutes later. Even if the email is delayed, you might still be able to see a pattern. Anyway, it's just a thought. It may or may not be right. I'll try today at the appropriate time.
@danwgreenfield: Oh rats, I just realised that the emails are in NSW time, not QLD time. I was out by a whole hour! I'll try again tomorrow.
I mentioned this a few weeks ago… And there was scepticism. 50% of my prizes were on a specific minute, but I did note that there were still a lot of prizes for other times, and that this wasn't consistent everyday.

Yes the login times does affects your chance of winning, use your FB login first and when you run out of entries then use your coke rewards account.
I am also getting the error page sometimes but when I click back and login again it works but never won though. As far as I know there is nothing you can do to avoid this.
When it asks you to login you can login to either FB or coke rewards. I don't think you can login to both. Even if you can it's just wasting you chance as a single entry will give you only one prize.
