After Target decided to stop selling GTA V, it is featured in their catalogue starting tomorrow for $76.
Kind of hilarious, but not a bad price for a game that isn't for sale.

It's been priced around $54-$68 lately from other retailer's.
I think TRENT86 mentioned this in a previous post. I guess there will always be a lag between when the catalogues are designed and printed, so the print run must have happened prior to their announcement that they will take the game off the shelves. Amusing but it would be as simple as that.
I believe this still comes under false advertising. If they really wanted to take the whole "high road" and all, they should of pulled the ad, and reprinted it. Think of the children.
P.s. I got my flyer in the mail yesterday morning. So that's 3 days before hand. When I did flyer delivery as a kid, we normally got fliers a few days before the delivery date. So I think target had a fair amount of time to change their ad.
Agree with you. Ironically pulling the game from the shelves has created more free publicity for the game than if they just kept it on their shelves. Probably created an interest among younger people as creates a bit of a "cool" or "forbidden" factor. As a non-gamer I had never even heard of this game till I read the news it had been pulled from the stores
Exactly, they will be losing out on even more sales now thanks to the amount of publicity they have created ;)
@Default117: They might offload their warehoused inventory through other channels.
Target got free publicity and won points with those that shop there for other things.
In the end the real winner is the game publisher.
I just couldn't resist. I'm sure the price is lower somewhere else, but I felt it was imperative to post this epic deal.
We should all take the catalog into your nearest target store all over Australia and ask for this game like we never heard of them removing it from the shelves.
Its just that these catalogues get printed weeks in advance.

The physical catalogue that i got yesteday pretty much has the same deals (which starts tomorrow).

The one i linked has expired (yesterday), the current one looks like they have removed it. It used to be in the place where Ass Creed Rogue is on page 16.
