People give it up for Pinchme, why not Nestle? I see Pinchme goes out of stock in a matter of minutes all the time. Lol.

      Hmm

  • Yay Free Milo :) Thanks OP

Yep, that's what OzB community is for, helping with living costs, doing a much better job than the government, me thinks.

  • sounds like a curious product…

  • +2

    I bet OP love MILO

    • +4

Not really, my kids do. I prefer a nice cup of coffee. :)

  • thanks! :) I loooovvee Milo!

  • +1

We had the boys from Milo In2Cricket visit school… We have 20+ massive tins and 500+ sachets in the staffroom now.

    • I would gladly take ALL the milo off your hands if you want. Problem solved.

    • Can I get the boys from Milo In2Cricket visit my home, put the Milo packages onto my shelves, and leave quietly?

  • +1

Can anyone verify, if real emails are required or not?

    • I signed up for the sample and there was no "verify email" email. So I guess you can risk it if you want, but I am already on their database, that's how I got the promo email in the first place.

      • +15

        "risk it"

Potentially not getting a small freebie is one of the huge risks we must take in OzBargain life.

  • thanks!

What's this 'Lifting the Lid on Milo' business? Sounds like PR spin/propaganda to me. Hmm sales are down because parents have finally smartened up that it's just loaded with sugar and sugar isn't 'nutritious'.

  • -3

    Ouch, truth hurts.

No wonder kids are getting diabetes. OzBers just want their free stuff, don't get in their way!

    • Mate, it's two 20g sample. Not a truckload. I don't see any harm in introducing both the bad and good stuff to my kids. I do teach them too much of anything is bad. I would rather they learn self control because I am not going to be around forever.

So they're doing this just for free? Good of their heart? The Christmas spirit?

Nope, that's not how it works. It's to encourage buying a full tin again after reading how pure and 'nutritious' their product is.

Agree on teaching self control. Good stuff. Nice to hear. 'Everything in moderation including moderation itself' ;-p

We all know chocolate is a sometimes food, but they're making Milo into a have anytime you want food. They use the milk (so called goodness of it with calcium, despite green vegies having more calcium than milk, and any milk besides full fat/full cream is useless when you consider digestion and absorption) as a sneaky mask to disguise the sugar.

Look at Coco Pops. Or Nesquik another Nestle product.

        They're a horrible company anyway. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nestl%C3%A9_boycott

So if anything, we should all register with other Emails IDs and then just throw it in the bin or RTS the stuff after ripping the sachet open so it costs them money and they can't reuse it.

"We all know chocolate is a sometimes food…"

No we don't. Chocolate is awesome.

        • +2

          @moooooooo: It's definitely a sometimes food. Sometimes I eat a row or two, sometimes I eat a whole block…

        • +1

If this is your reaction to Milo I hate to see what happens when you see this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/172874

        • +1

Chocolate is a basic human right.

      • +2

i wouldn't call a processed food like milo a health food. it is 52% sugar. feed your kids unprocessed fruit & vegies and they will get all the nutrients they need.

    • Good source of iron. One scoop in a cup of whole milk, that's the goodness right there for kids.

      • -2

Nope, not when outweighed by sugar. Other better ways of getting iron.

  • excellent- milio is a favourite of mine !
