JB is having a Sony sale and combined with Sony's 3 year extended warranty deal
this seems like a good price for those who missed out on the Samsungs.

And of course this is the ticketed price so you could bargain it down more.

Cheapest at shopbot and staticice was around $1150.

    The three year warranty deal is a promotion offered by Sony on all Bravia models purchased between 1st October and 31st December 2009. After that warranty will revert back to the standard 1 year. Registration with Sony prior to 31st January is also required to claim the promotional extended 3 year warranty.

    Still a Sony full HD TV for lees than $1000 is a bargain.

    Looks like this is possibly only available from jbhifionline not instore.

    No model number listed, but definately the same TV. If you click 'buy online' it takes you to the same TV on jbhifionline for $980.

    Great deal anyway, if you can get one.

    Thanks for the heads up, I purchased the TV for $965.00 on a price beat at the Good Guys without any problems. What a Bargain + the 3 Year redemption Warranty….whooo whoo

    I got one today for $969 on a price beat at my local retravision =]
    They had the 40" version for only $1199 but it's too big for using for the computer and in my room.
