  • I bought this at the last sale and they were $29! Bah humbug!
    http://www.skins.net/au/skins-sale-clearance-rack-australia/…

    • for $14.70, you're paying for size xxs which will fit the bicep of a ten year old child ;p. $29 is still a good deal

not many sizes left for the cheap items. Either too small or too big

  • Got some tops and 3/4 pants in XL or XXL.
Funny that G400 Men's Compression Long Sleeve Top for Golf was $29.99 when I bought it and it now comes up as $97.99.
    So I got a great bargain :)

This is a sale not to be missed.

I think everyone who doesn't have an XXS torso combined with XXL lower body missed out on this.

  • Anyone here currently using Skins compression tights? How durable are they to sport wear and tear?

    • I was using slazenger compression wear but found the skins to be more durable and a way better fit.
I only use them for running to stop shin splints. However the price is triple that of slazenger.

      • What about breathability and reduction of post-run fatigue?

        • I noticed a big difference in fatigue and they certainly keep the sweat off you.
If you have never used them I think you will be surprised at the effect they have.

      • Hi Ron025,
How did you go with the shin splints?
I have had them on and off for years and haven't noticed any huge change in pain when wearing them

        • I have not had shin splints since I have used them. I do a lot of hill running more than on the flats and I use the full length A400. Did you get the right fit? Do they feel tight around your shins?

    • It's fairly resistant to wear and tear however for machine wash, i would use the delicate cycle.
It takes 6 months for the compression decrease but it's still good for non intensive exercise and/or, recovery.

2xu is more durable than Skins however Skins is still great. Some Skins series does not have good breath ability but i can't see any of them on their website except for their calf compression. Also you get what you pay for in terms of compression. So a calf compression which cost $69 will be better than a $49 one. how much better? that's subjective.

the benefit of wearing compression is it helps you to have the correct posture when exercising which is important for performance, fatigue and injury reduction. Post exercise, it helps with recovery management, sometimes i would wear it for 48 hours. For me, compression wear has significantly reduce the chance of an injury but for some, it hasn't. One thing i will say is, you gotta know you limits :) I've seen young kids pushing so hard that they ended up having knee recon in their 20's. It helps if you play intensive sports to compliment compression wear with proper training, nutritional planning and the occasional trips to the physio/chiro.

i have four pairs of Skins 400 series compression long pants and two pairs of 2xu

  • for badminton player, skin products are suitable?
