just grabbed one at Belconnen Mall (ACT) at lunchtime today - there were still about 10 left on the shelves at that time - only had two varieties left, angry and smiley :)

  • I dont care what anyone else says, im going to pick one up tonight!

  • Also if you spend over $100 and sign up for the kmart newsletter you get $10 off your postage.
Standard postage is $10 for up to 22kg

    • To save signing up, the promo code for this is KMAILXMAS14.

  • Anyone know if this can sort duplo too, or is it just Lego?

    • +1

      just Lego…

  • +1

Thanks OP, bought one. Plenty of stock in Rundle Mall Store (SA).

  • Does kmart still sell fishing gear?

    • +2

I don't think you'll fit that gear in this Lego Head somehow!!

    • yes they do

    • +1

they are moving towards very low quality gear though.

  • +1

Nice one OP, I totally forgot about seeing this in the catalogue. It should hold the young fella's newly acquired Lego City sets he is getting for Xmas nicely.

  • +1

Anyone know of any store in Victoria still having stock?

    • Airport West

    • Victoria Gardens has about 20, smiley and tongue smile.

    • Chadstone has about 20 ish left. sold out for brendon park and burwood.

      • Chadstone is out of stock now, too. :(

    • Eastland sold out.

      • I got 4 at Eastland on Saturday morning!?

        • I called them on Friday evening and they said they were OOS. Perhaps they restocked? Bummer, nephew would have loved one. Bought something else instead.

  • Impressive service from KMART - took less than ten minutes for my order to be processed and shipped with an aus post tracking number!

    • +1

provinding a tracking number doesn't mean they have already shipped the item, unless tracking info proves the opposite of course

      • -2

showing as 'In Transit' - good enough for me :)

imagine if all lego was this big…

    • How big is it? Coffee cup size? Bucket size? Can't tell from the linked pages.

      • from amazon site

Product Dimensions: 11.4 x 11.4 x 11.8 inches ( about 3cm to an inch if you want to go metric)
        Shipping Weight: 3.9 pounds ( 2.2 pounds to 1KG)

and can hold up to 1000 pieces of lego

      • +1

        Fits in a milk crate

    • +4

      thats the US site mate

      • I have confused it many times as well :)

    • +5

I'm surprised Target hasn't banned it for encouraging decapitation

  • ooops sorry should of looked properly

  • +1

what does it do? just hold lego?

I've bought my daughter 600 piece set for christmas, would it hold that many?

    • +1

its got sieve-like dividers. Shake it and all the little pieces go to bottom level.

      The container is pretty big.

  • I have one at home and it's great. It has a few storage layers inside with sieves with different size holes inbetween. So the larger pieces are on top while the smaller pieces fall to the bottom. Quite ingenious really and in such a cute container. The kids love it !

  • does it sieve/sort Duplo?

    • Of course …! But only when you also have tiny Duplo pieces … ;-)

  • +1

am i the only one who thought, then wished, that this was a gas cylinder?

  • +1

    Silly question maybe.

Does it come with any lego?

    • From the picture and description I'd say no.

  • These were $15 @ Target for weeks

    • Right. And you didn't think to share this information then?

      • +1

Was out of stock online and didn't want to ring every store to check if they had stock :)
        $15.20 to be exact

        • Fair call, you are excused ;)

          $15.20 would have been awesome!

  • +1

Thanks OP. Just picked up one from Southgate (Sutherland Shire,NSW) they have about a dozen left.

  • Lego sorter sorted, now where is a good Lego deal?

    • +2

      Target has 20% off

  • Was out at dinner and swung into Chatswood Kmart - none left but headed over to Hornsby and they had HEAPS (20+). Mostly the angry face ones, but a few happy faces left.

  • Looks like a swap and go gas? Anyone?

    • +1

But it leaks like a sieve..

  • Parramatta and Burwood Kmarts are sold out.

Picked up the last one from Burwood just then!

    • +1

Not quite. Have to ask out back
Got 2 happy heads just now from Burwood NSW, few left still and plenty of angry heads

  • Stupid question but I ask anyway, is it empty or full of Lego pieces ?

    • +2

Empty of course. What do you expect for $20

  • Marion ( SA ) had some left. scored an Angry one.

  • +1

Brunswick (VIC) has heaps left as at ~ 9:30am this morning…

  • +1

Broadway (NSW) had about 40 just now. Mostly smiling ones too

  • Kewl. Got 2 at Kmart, Innaloo WA (Inn-a-loo) lol
    1 X angry face left out back…

  • Not a single lego brick inside? Meh. Compartmentalised tuppaware containers are more effective.

    • The novelty of a big yellow Lego head would be much more exciting for our 5y/o not to mention much more convenient than having several separate Tuppaware containers all over the place to hold his 1000 pieces of Lego.

      • My thoughts exactly.

      • -2

Then well done on a $20 novelty purchase :)

  • +1

Kmart in Toowong QLD has 8 left today. Smiley face and the one with the tongue sticking out.

  • +1

Bought two today. One with a smiley face and one with the tongue sticking out. About 10 left at KMART, Casuarina, NT.

  • Whats inside it?

    • Just air when you purchase it =). My two were empty when I bought them but for $19.00 it would have been nice for KMart to throw in a few bricks…lol.

      • There was only air in it at the original price of ~$40 too so use that 50% saving to buy some Lego.

  • My boy received one of these as a birthday present from a friend(huge lego fan). It looks good, but was a total waste of $$ if you have a large lego collection.
