    The sizes are European, 44 is there, maybe 46-47, but not much higher and likely not many of that end of the range.

    Thanks for the replies. The largest I saw at my local was 44 European which misses the mark for me. Definitely a deal for those with smaller feet.

  Just got a pair from Aldi waterloo. About 50% left.Great price! Happy to pay a few $ more compared to cheaper ones for more comfort and durability.

  i just got two pairs from aldi Broadway, they seem to be of lower quality than those which i have bought previously ( last year)

  I just saw this price at Costco in SA for $8.99 as well. not sure if it is nationwide. Nevertheless i grabbed two pairs since reading these comments about quality.

  The looked a bit funny to me? They come in a clear packet and say 'top havianas' on them? Had weird sizing too eg 44/45

  I was lucky to grab one for myself this morning. When I was there, I called my wife from there and asked her if she wants a spare one, she said Yes! and the. She asked me to grab two pairs for her mother, one each for each of her sisters. And then I was like WTH! It's no more a special deal for me if I buy so many pairs. I just bought one for myself and came back home and told my wife that all the ladies ones were too big for her, her mother & sisters. :-D

  So, at the end of the day I did save money buy buying these thongs which I have been using from past 4 years. I love them!

  People were buying like crazy like 10 pairs. Aldi had heaps of stock. The workers kept emptying boxes and boxes out onto the shelf. I got a ladies gold one looks good

  Confirm the Aldi's Havaianas thongs are very durable. They used high quality EVA rubber to make it. Feels 3x stronger than those bought from BigW. I bought 3 pairs, one in each colour.

  Went to my local Aldi and they only had brown in mens so I didn't end up buying one for myself. Kind of disappointed as I was hoping for another blue/black one. Handy tip for anyone planning to go, know your European shoe size as that's what they have on the packaging.

  Mens was easy to get. Got 3 in US12 - 2xBlack and Brown
  Women's sizing difficult, anything smaller than 39/40 is very difficult to find.

  I came across them in Aldi on Saturday and picked up 10 pairs :))

  The beige metalic slim strap pair retails for $35 so it was a bargain!

  Blacktown store had around 100 pairs left yesterday, no mens left, all womens and kids sizes. Wifey picked up a slimline gold pair, thanks OP.

  These are not as good quality as older Havi's my wife has.
  Straps are narrower and sole is thinner
