    I was tempted by E-m1 last round but really can't stand the noise performance. Lets hope Sony bring out a new A7S soon. My GAS is tempting me everyday…..

      I have a E-M5 and I think its picture quality is very good for a micro 4/3 sensor. Of course I don't expect it to be as clean as those full-frame sensors in Canon and Nikon.

        Em5 and em10 hv sony sensors. Em1 uses panasonic and has crazy noise if long exposure unless dark shot subtraction is on

        M43 sensor is good for up to 1600. I should have explain myself more what I am talking about. I shot constantly on 6400. So M43 is not really a choice for me and hence why the A7S is so temping. I am waiting for it to come in the new grip of A7ii, and hopefully a bit more pixel count, say 16mp.

      Same, ordered 2/12/14 with expected delivery date of 5/12/14 (also paid for priority shipping) but have yet to receive it. Was told the "Sydney weather" caused the initial delay, then it was the inadvertent "delivery via road between Sydney-Perth due to the weight restrictions" hence another week delay..

      While they have been slow to respond to emails I suspect they are hounded with many back-orders - question is why don't they fix this first before running another "special" only to compound the problem..?

      for those who are still waiting …….The delays have been Olympus’s fault they did not predict the amount of sales this would generate and have promised to air freight not road freight this time, now because of this we have decided those with delayed E-M1 will go into the draw as-well as there is not that many(we know who you are)

    Got told by rep cameras due in yesterday or today. Dispatching should be soon. Hope it's not another broken promise. I will update the status here.been waiting for weeks. Email was ignored too, had to chase up a chase up email. Good luck if you decide to order.

      I had the same problem of my emails getting ignored, and when I sent another follow-up email, I got this rather unfriendly (unedited) response :

      'firstly can I suggest you get a decent email address outside of Hotmail or Gmail or firstly check your spam and junk mail filtering systems free email accounts will always have issues we have responded to every single email that you have sent us'

      The fact that they didn't respond to my initial email, and blamed email filtering systems along with 'blame-other-factors' reasons like weather delays and supplier problems leaves alot to be desired from a first time customer's POV.

        Was it overnight delivery from when you received tracking information?
        I still haven't gotten my tracking number and have it addressed to my workplace, which closes for Christmas after tomorrow. :(

          Yes overnight delivery - tracking information didn't work until the morning I received anyway (that's how quick it took!). Give them a call and find out if they have shipped it yet - they may have not emailed you the tracking ID yet.

    I received mine from the previous deal today! Took a few weeks but their communication throughout was good I found. Beautiful camera and lens, I ordered the silver one and received the correct colour - was a bit of a wait but I'm very happy now!

    Just waiting on the 40-150mm f2.8 which I pre-ordered - is there any idea of when this is due to start shipping out?

          Awesome stuff! Glad you got it! It's an awesome camera and ggcw delivered again! I thought the em5 was good..this thing is a monster…the af is blazing fast and it handles really well. Don't forget to update the firmware.
