I'd say that sounds pretty cheap already given the distance, time of year, and time to departure.
If you don't mind two different carriers I've done that route by going Seoul-Singapore on Scoot and Singapore to Melbourne on Jetstar around that time of year. Which would probably be pretty similar in timing to your AA flight (which I assume is going via KL)
