      As in you can't find it, it is unavailable, or it won't download/install?

      It worked fine for me. I wish Nintendo gave more first party themes. At least 1 each of some of their more famous franchises.

    Meh. I suppose 'themes' don't harm anyone who doesn't want to pay for the pointless stuff though.

    If they start adding significant content to games which require Amiibos to access I'll be pissed though.

      You need to have the latest firmware to connect to the eshop or download anything, so yes you would need the latest update.

    Keep in mind; if you ever plan to use the 3DS Gateway on the new 3DS, do not update beyond 9.2.0-20E.
