Where to by Sunglasses online?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to buy some Ray-Ban 2140,55mm, tortoise shell, polarised sunglass. I had a look at Sunglass Hut today and I refuse to pay $300.

I found them online a few places cheaper and just want to get your thoughts.

Firstly this guy on eBay seems okay

I also keep seeing shadesdaddy advertised on here. They have them even cheaper

Any advice would be fantastic !

My husband bought sunglasses from them twice, both Raybans. Good price, free delivery, free lens cleaning kit, all good. (From memory, they were shipped from Hong Kong) As far as we could tell, they are genuine.

    • What was delivery times for both to Vic?

Cleaning kit is probably worth $5 or so right? It shows a Rayban case and grey microfiber cloth, is there an extra one from VD and is it similar quality?

He bought those Raybans few years ago, so I can't really remember what extra bits came with the purchase. But it was more than just a microfiber cloth, perhaps came with a little bottle of cleaning solution?! I have no idea how much the Cleaning kit was worth. (Sorry!)

The sunglasses came in a Rayban cardboard box, and a Rayban case. Didn't take long for delivery, 2-3 weeks.

We bought Ray Bans from Vision Direct, really cheap especially as we got the lenses removed and replaced with prescription ones. They sent the glasses (RayBan Justin wth script lens, plus orginal lens and a little screwdriver repair and cleaning kit. Was about $180 delivered. Super impressed with them. I think the script lenses were $50-$60 so glasses were around $120. Came with RB case and cloth ect like all originals do.
Took 10 days to get them (quick for script lenses). Certain ranges also have quicker delivery (they are marked quick delivery or something like that)

The always have some discount as well (also StudentEdge gives 10% discount)
They also have an Aus 1800 number and a local Yatala (Gold Coast) office for return processing if needed.

And to feel good, every set purchsed the donate another set to charities.

    $229 on Medibank.

25% off for the first pair if you have private health cover… possibly even 50% off the second pair, if you want a spare. My husband I bought two separate pairs of sunglasses this way.

    Total: $171.75 + $114.50 = $286.25 for 2 pairs if that helps?
