  Go to any Indian grocers and get some turmeric powder. A lot cheaper than this stuff.

  Dear Associate, please post some links in this thread to some published peer-reviewed studies that show (statistically significantly) that turmeric extract is of benefit as a dietary supplement, in certain circumstances. I could go searching for them myself, but I'm asking you which ones you are aware of because I'm sure you know more about it than me, given you're selling the stuff.
  I did a quick search on PubMed expecting to find nothing, and surprisingly I found this one straight away, which suggests (rather convincingly I must admit; multi-centre study, large N, statistical significance) that it may be as good as ibuprofin in patients with knee osteoarthritis:

    When you go to the deals page on the website, scroll down, and there will be many pubmed peer reviewed studies. According to the TGA I cannot make any claims or I could get fined. So it is basic info for now. Just use the peer reviewed links when it takes you to the deal page.
    I would love nothing more than to tell people the benefits of this great plant, but unfortunately I can't. I am glad you were able to find a good study. Hopefully, it will encourage others to do their own research.

      You are not allowed to "make claims", true enough. But unless I am mistaken, you ARE allowed to post links to other people's claims; i.e. stuff they (not you) have published on PubMed. Please correct me if this is not the case?

  Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code 2007:

  "Advertisement" in relation to therapeutic goods as defined in the Therapeutic
  Goods Act 1989 includes any statement, pictorial representation or design, however made, that is intended, whether directly or indirectly, to promote the use or supply of the goods.

  Peer Reviewed studies they say are ok, but I have seen people get fined from the TGA for even making a claim then siting the study. The TGA came up with a way of reading into it whereby it was considered as breaking the Code. It is better to be safe than sorry. I just give the links and not expound on the studies. These studies are linked on the product page.
