have a live chat with them and they will fix it for you

this seems to be happening to a few people reading the commments of the 2 other deals

        • @easternculture: I am having this issue and I can't seem to bring up live chat. With 'THANKYOU' and delivery, I'm still being charged $59. FWIW - I'd given up on sports shoe sales on COTD due to never having sizes small enough for me, so I'm anxious to get this deal … :) any help appreciated.

        • @Moki:

Clear you cart. Sign out and back in. Try again. Report back

The small guys sizes could quite possibly fit normal sized foot of women. For example a mens 6 seems to translate to a ladies equiv 8.5.

    • +2

      not quite but almost.
      their size chart states that a US men's 6 = uk 5 = eu 39 = 24.5CM
      size chart for the women's shoe US 8.5 = UK 6.5 = EU 40 = 25.3CM

if you look at both charts, you'll notice the EU and CM sizes are always constant regardless of what gender these shoes are. so based on this…

edit: i might as well complete this size conversion chart ;)
      a men's US 4 is more like a women's US 5.5
      a men's US 4.5 is more like a women's US 6
      a men's US 5 is more like a women's US 6.5
      a men's US 5.5 is more like a women's US 7
      a men's US 6 is more like a women's US 7.5
      a men's US 6.5 is more like a women's US 8
      a men's US 7 is more like a women's US 8.5

i've got small feet, even for female standards but i can't wear any kayanos smaller than 25cm

      • are they narrow or something?

        • to me, they feel rather snug with all that padding.
it also depends on the socks you wear. i don't like thin socks so my shoes have to allow for thicker socks.

        • Width information can be found here: http://www.asicsamerica.com/shoe-width-guide

          Basically a Women's standard width is a narrow Men's.
          A Men's standard with is a wide Women's.

      • Ah crap, I bought a mens 6 in the hope it will be a womens 8 to 8.5. Anyway, will let you know how this goes, could be a handy tip going forward. Didn't think the guys colour was too bad, so worth a try.

    • Thanks for the idea!

  • got the "lite show" ones along with Globe Heathens (also 30% off) and free shipping with the semi-decent crap i bought from the $10 day section. all for just under $90.

    eh..not bad ¯_([])_/¯

  • bought one. reading the review this is the shoes for me, flat feet person

    • No, I think the Nimbus is for flat-feet people. Kayano is for higher-arch.

        http://m.footlocker.com/?uri=product&sku=3009021&model=18837…

It says overpronators, and I think this is the case for flat feets

        • +1

i overpronate and have high arches. i'm a freak! lol

        • +1

          @tdw:

When googling flat feet overpronator, I found the two not always come together but mostly.

        • +1

@erwinsie: i do have freaky feat anyway. my right foot, while 1cm shorter than my left, is almost 1cm wider in the forefoot region than my left. not so much of a problem when buying shoes since most will conform to your feet eventually. but buying ice skates is a pain. short of buying 2 pairs in different sizes, i just put different insoles/wear different socks >_>

        • +1

          @tdw:

Ouch too much info for the very last week of December, bro
          Lol ..:)

        • @erwinsie: would you like to hear about my calluses hahahaha

        • +2

          @tdw:

          Photos please

  • woops

  • I never bought shoes online. Are they genuine? This is so cheap even without the discount

    • +2

They're genuine and have a pretty good returns policy: https://catchsupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202737240…

      • Thanks!

    • definitely the real deal. keep in mind these are kayanos from 2 years off from the current 21's. that's why they're so cheap

      • What do they actually change them with each generation, or is it more of just a colour refresh?

        • +1

i once asked a rebel sport rep about the difference between that 19's and 20's. her response was only the colours were a bit different. so a bit like apple then ;)

  • +1

    Great… a shoe I need at a price I can afford in a size I can't fit into…

  • -5

    That is way too small.

    • i have a glass slipper that might fit you better

  • +1

I thought I had small feet. Not small enough for this deal unfortunately.

  • +4

Cheap deal even though i have a supination step and high arch…these suit more the pronation type of walkers/feet…do a bit of research on the asics website first; but for this price they hard to go past. Rule of thumb is Asics and New Balance really do make the very best runners/shoes…if u pick the right one in their range. Forget adidas and nike…i know i will get some negative vote downs for that but it's the honest truth :)

    • +2

I bought Nike… realised they are just well marketed shit. As you said, Asics/NB is the way to go. All the decent shoe review sites reveal this pretty early on!

    • My dad was hardcore asics fan for close to a decade until he switched to mizuno last year. He reckons it's better

  • +1

Great for small feet! I bought a pair for my small footed wife, it was only$30 including postage and a $10 COD credit from somewhere.

  • sportsdirect have plenty for the bigfooted. i received 1st order of asics this week. as described. perfect fit.

  • Forget adidas and nike…i know i will get some negative vote downs for that but it's the honest truth.

I personally disagree - Nike and Adidas make good shoes. Many of the world's top runners use Nike and Adidas and I'm sure the athletes wouldn't be wearing them if they were rubbish… marketing campaigns can only take you so far… you need to have a good product.

This link has been helpful for me - http://www.premierpodiatry.net/running-walking-shoe-recommen…

It is worth going to a podiatrist and checking what type of shoe you would need.

    • just a thought - they might also be wearing nike + adidas because of endorsement deals, not necessarily because they believe in the product

      • Definitely. Sorry, that's what I meant by the marketing comment but I'm sure the shoes need to be decent to be competitive and prevent injuries. :)

Anyway, being an OzBargainer, I just choose a shoe that is suitable for me at the lowest price I can find, regardless of brand. As with all stuff, people have their own preferences.

        • +1

i do also wonder how different/better customised pro equipment is from the average off-the-shelf consumer variety…

  • US 11.5 4E problems right here, sad cos i'm looking for an ASICS Kayano right now :(

Might just stick with the NB

  • Deal hasn't expired btw
    Only men's 6 and 6.5, women's 5 remaining

  • Does anyone have a screen shot or able to get one of the info from cotd that says they were 30% off I was charged full price and customer service r saying they didn't know of the sale so they need proof.

  • THANKYOU code still working across the site.
    thanks

  • The boxing day 50% 40% 30% 20% off pages are still up.

  • Catch of the Day ever stock 2e Asics Kayano's? Never seem to see any..
