A 5 ml sample is approx 10 applications, enough for a person to tell whether the product is suitable for their skin, that's what they are there for. There are a few reason why consultants don't give out samples, first one being because they may legitimately be out, second is because they may need to hold onto them for promotions and third reason is that many people out there are sample hunters, they don't care about what they use, they just want something for free, and then actual customers who want to try the product to determine whether they like it won't get the chance to try it because the counters have run out.
