    What I meant is that you can connect it to any device with USB power output. If your smartphome has OTG function and microUSB post, surely you can connect this Light to it's port via microUSB-USB adapter.

    I mentioned it to highlight that Geekbuying is selling original products from Xiaomi directly.
    Cause nowadays this company's products became so popular, that smaller no-name Chinese manufacturers started to make fake items similar to this brand. But of course you won't get anything of high quality if you get a fake. It may not mean much for this item, but especially it concerns powerbanks (with low quality batteries inside, not capable to give the proper mAh number) and Piston earphones (with terrible sound), many people complain that such fakes are sold in some shops or at Aliexpress marketplace.

  Am I missing how this usb led light is any different to the ones I picked up from Woolworths awhile back for $2 or less, or ones that can be found at say Daiso for $2.80??

    Im not sure of the wollies one but i just received mine. Its really bright and seems well built. I had a usb clip on light i brought from dse for $25.The wires on those became exposed where the usb plug is.
    The usb plug on this is in the rubber housing so i doubt ill have that problem again. You can also adjust the angle of the light by bending it.Dunno what would happen over time if u keep bending the light though yet. All in all in happy with my purchase

    Edit had a look at daisco usb lights http://m.ebay.com/itm/331414145618?_mwBanner=1 looks like the daisco and xiomi are both adjustable just one is metal other rubber. I dont know how bright daisco usb lights are but guessing the xiomi could be brighter?
