Fujifilm X-M1 + XC 16-50mm Lens $499.95 + $9.95 Shipping at Ted's

Ted's having a special on Fuji X-M1 + XC 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS at $499.95 + shipping. Seems a good deal for local stock with X-Trans sensor.

DigitalRev sells it for $589.
http://www.digitalrev.com/product/fujifilm-x-m1-with-xc/MTAw…

This is the same camera body as Fuji X-A1 with the X-Trans sensor instead of the Bayer sensor, which is suppose to give better results in higher ISO.
X-A1 is on sale for $377 at digiDirect as well http://www.digidirect.com.au/slr_cameras/fujifilm/fujifilm_x…

    Hope this is not too off topic. If you like Sony the A6000 it's available at HN's for $597 twin lens (+post); sell the 55-210 to bring the price in line with the Fuji. http://www.harveynorman.com.au/sony-a6000-interchangeable-le…

  • Ok so this Fuji, sony a6000 or olympus omd m10?

    • If price were equal I would go Sony a6000 or OMD E-M10 over this one.

      • OMD - so many more lenses to choose from ….but then again - it depends what kind of photography you're into.
        Sony for quicker focus and action shots. OMD for the wealth of lenses, build quality, in body stabilisation….

        Good luck.

        • I assume OMD lens are cheaper than Sony due to smaller sensor size ?

          Fuji makes wonderful lens, but this body is not the best at focusing, especially in low light.

          @nekov:

          Not necessarily - some micro four thirds prime lenses are amazing optically such as the Olympus 75mm or the Panasonic Leica 25mm - about $900 and $600 respectively. Then there is the Pro series Olympus lenses - the 12-40mm and the 40-150mm - about $900 and $1400 respectively.
