Thanks very much for posting, a great deal!!

32GB not that great. 32GB is $24 at MSY for this same SanDisk version. 32GB Samsung EVO is less at $19. I would personally just buy from MSY, even if you buy the SanDisk.

    64GB is a decent deal.

    • $23 at msy, then get OW to price beat, I think you end up paying about $21. Good price to get it now

      • +13

For $2, I would honestly just get it from MSY. Support the guys who bring you a great price. MSY stores are everywhere, save yourself the hassle of jacking around with OW staff who are going to give you a hard time beating MSY as they're known to do.

        • +1

Er yeah, for a lousy two bucks I wouldn't run around like that ;)

    • +3

The one you are referring to at MSY is an older version of slower write speeds and no adaptor. Model no. SDSDQUA-032G - direct MSY link here. Amazon has it here for $12.35 (no AU shipping). In any case, this deal has it shipped to your door cheaper and in my opinion, backed by a much better customer service.

It seems I have to have a US Amazon account to buy it?

        • +2

Got it, was actually bad password.

      • they're both class 10 and ultra series. y is this faster?
different part no only bcoz they doesnt come with adapter?

        • +1

Read speed. Old version = 30MB/s, new version = 45MB/s. Not suggesting this has any noticeable effect in the real world, but they are different cards. Check out the top review for a detailed comparison.

  • Can I use this microSD with adapter in Canon 1200D?

    • Yes

      • +1

Feck, I just ordered HN SDHC yesterday but they said they are getting stock but it'll take up to 2 weeks.

Can I cancel the HN on-line order tomorrow and buy the 32GB Class 10 Micro SDHC with Adaptor from Amazon? How long does it take to arrive in Australia for Amazon orders?

        • +1

Just cancel the HN order and buy the 32GB card from MSY. You can get the Samsung for $19 or this same Sandisk for $24 and you get it the moment you walk out the store, no need to wait around for it to arrive.

@paulsterio: Link to MSY 32GB card? Does it come with adapter?

        • +1

@bargainaus: Just check their PDF parts price list. http://msy.com.au/Parts/PARTS.pdf

I don't know if it comes with an adapter or not. You can do a quick Google search or perhaps someone who knows might comment here.

          @paulsterio: I think this one - http://www.msy.com.au/peripherals/4146-32g-sandisk-ultra-mic…

Hmm, gotta make some calls tomorrow morning.

        • @bargainaus:
I bought 64GB Kingston from MSY today and it came with adaptor.

        • +1

@886648: Good to know, lets see what ACT store has. They only have one branch here.

    • yes, but I'd strongly suggest you don't as depending on how you insert the card its possible to experience disconnections between the card and the adaptor due to mechanical movement as its inserted in the camera. I found it particularly bad with my IXUS camara so its much better to stick with a full size if that's what your camera needs.

      • I think you need a new adapter.
Never had any issues with using adapter to make full size SD card for cameras and gps.

        • nah, I have dozen's of adaptors and hit it a few times, it depends on the mechanics of how the card is inserted and whether there is a chance the card itself can experience friction causing it to move. Trust me, adaptor is not a good idea as a general approach unless you really are moving the card back and forth between microSD and SD slots.

      • Right you are. I'll go to MSY tomorrow, and hopefully the staff will suggest me some full size SDHC compatible with my camera - http://www.msy.com.au/act/fyshwick/136-sd-sdhc#/availability…

change the title to AUD prices or put "USD" against every price. and if we can't select pick up then include the postage in the price.
    $13 and 18.41 aren't the same thing.

  • +1

Need to boost to 100 dollars to get good deal with delivery

    • I thought it'd be easy to blow $70 USD on a whim. Still nothing.

  • +1

Bought one for my phone, cheers Op!

  • Great prices.

  • How much is the postage for one card? Don't want to spend $100.

    • Add the card you want to your cart and then go through the checkout, but don't commit.

      • There's also a link on the shopping cart page "Estimate your shipping and tax"

      • Should I add my credit card details, then wait without committing?

  • MSY sells 64GB Kingston class10 microsdxc with adaptor for AUD $41 and I bought one from MSY Adelaide CBD today. Instead of waiting days to save $4, happy to support local MSY store.

    Domestically, 128GB model for example:

    - $115 + ~$7 postage from Centre Com (Melbourne) http://goo.gl/kUczYR

      this is ozbargain correct

  • do u need faster sd cards for dashcams?

    • +1

Not always, any card will do. The higher the class the better is what most say for HD recording. Although some dash cams are more stable with lower classes.

  • Do you lose anything by using micro SD in a regular SD device with an adapter?

    • No

      • This isn't exactly true.

There are certain things you do lose from using microSD cards instead of full-sized SD cards - including lower read/write speeds and less durability.

Whilst it might be of zero concern if you're just throwing one permanently into a GPS unit in your car or your head unit to play MP3s, if you're consistently swapping in and out SD cards, the full sized ones are more durable.

I have just saved 4c, drinks on me

"SanDisk Ultra 64GB UHS-I/Class 10 Micro SDXC Memory Card Up to 48MB/s With Adapter- SDSDQUAN-064G-G4A [Newest Version] has decreased from $24.99 to $24.95"

    • +1

This combined with the stronger AU this morning has saved you 30c!
You've got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em…

  • Anyone know any deals for a 256gb micro??

    • I imagine there will be deals sometime after the product exists.

        • I'm not sure if you are aware jdogg but there is no such thing as a 256GB microSD. Every single one of those listings on eBay are fake. DO NOT blow your money!

EDIT: That first listing from China has "Good quality" written in place of the SanDisk logo. Also it claims it is a 256GB SDHC card. SDHC cards can only go as high as 32GB, after that it is SDXC. The packaging makes me rofl but cry at the poor sods that buy them.

        • @Guybrush57:
Ohh I see! Thanks for that! :)
