  • Non-OzBer: Grab at cold beer at popular pub.

Oz-Bargainer: use a Shop A Docket (show on webpage coupon on phone as TA says) and get your drink free with the meal, or discounted meal.

  • The museum is free and has an amazing room you can stand in and listen to an actual recording of Cyclone Tracey. Fantastic views from the windows of the museum also. http://www.magnt.net.au

If you want to pay then the Darwin Military Museum on East Point is pretty amazing also. http://darwinmilitarymuseum.com.au

Go for a tour of the oil tunnels http://www.waterfront.nt.gov.au/darwin-waterfront-precinct/h…

Expensive options are swim with the the crocs at Crocodylus Cove, go to Crocodylus Park, go shopping at Paspaley Pearls visit Sky City Casino.

If you want to bring our your inner child the Wave Pool at the waterfront is good.

East Arm Wharf is a good place to kill a few hours eating, drinking and looking at fish and boats and water.

Depending on when you are up there (during the wet or dry) a day tour to Litchfield is also pretty good.

Darwin is really spread out place. It would be helpful to know also what area you are staying in and if you have a car/transport.

Swimming with the crocs sounds like a once-in-a-lifetime experience :-)

  • Get pissed.

    Its what the locals do….

    Happy hour is pretty good.
