Their way of apology for PSN being down over Christmas: a 5 day extension to all existing PS+ subscriptions and a 10% discount to be provided in the next month.
What are your thoughts on this?
There are still some deals to be had. Take Sleeping Dogs PS4. Currently $30 AUD. I cant find a physical even remotely close to that. Then take off another 10%
I would say "You can get a physical Sleeping Dogs Pre-owned on ps3 or xbox360 for $19 easy." But you'll just laugh at me and claim there ain't enuff pixalz.
I already have SLeeping Dogs on PS3 when it was on PS+ but I would love to play the PS4 version as it looks a little more polished and also includes all the DLC.
Price needs to be right tho :-)
Pretty poor in all honesty. They had to compensate with extra ps plus as people were paying for a service they did not have access to. It would have been good to see maybe a one month extension for all users along with an extra free game with your ps plus membership. 10% off is just a joke unless you can buy more ps plus and even so it isn't much of a discount at all.

"sometime this month we will announce that for a limited time, we will be offering a 10 percent discount code", discount is not available yet.
"one-time discount off a total cart purchase in the PlayStation Store " PS+ goes into you cart, so it will be discounted.
If you goto purchase ps+ in the playstation store, it goes to a separate subscribe checkout which is different to "add to cart" checkout. Also in the subscription checkout, there's no space to put a discount code.
Ohh..sorry, guess your right.
With the way the Aus dollar has crashed we may well need to consider a local sign up to PS+ to get a half decent deal!
Prob use it on some psone classics for the pstv
did you guys get the 5 day extension? Cause my psn plus is up for renewal….standard sony behaviour (i was a psn member throughout lizard squads antics)
10% discount over heavily inflated prices, a joke imo.
