Which one to choose? Anyone got experience with either of those fans?

I would go with Masters. With the $20 off coupon and discounted gift card. It would only cost just over $30..

      • +1

where do i get the coupon?

      • +5

Need to spend more than $100 to get $20 off ?

          @Ahan:

I am planning to buy two

Don't you think it would be worth mentioning that in your first comment then when recommending to go with the Masters offer!? Your figures still don't add up, 2 x $45 is $90 - still not enough for the $20 discount. Try again.

I would go with the masters one because it looks better. Also this shows Bunnings don't really have the lowest prices until someone challenges them.

You reckon it looks better? I'm not a fan.

OzB needs a "comment of the deal" award. You sir, get my comment of this deal vote :)

agree and they are almost 6cm taller

Thought it was a lightsaber for a moment there.

Hmmm good luck finding one! I just tried 7 Bunnings in the Sydney metro area and none had stock! One even told me that they haven't stocked this model for months!

Moretti is one of Bunning's generic brands.
Just to put it out there.

  • None in Newcastle either, thankfully there for something else

  • If anyone have any experience with these. Seems like it would take up less room than a pedestal?

    • I've got a similar tower fan. Just keep in mind that you cannot adjust the vertical angle it blows.

  • Is this a good fan? The brand sounds abit Italian?

Lol $94 on shelf. This thing has terrible build quality; isn't even worth $39. It wasn't turned on, so I couldn't test the airflow but yeah… The whole unit is cheap plastic that looks like it's about to fall apart.

You sure that wasn't the 103cm model and not this one advertised? The 103cm model is all I saw in the stores (priced at about $100)..

      • +2

I am sure. I found both models in the store.

Zero stock in south west Sydney stores…as their site states.. "add to WISH list" because you will not find one in store or online.

    • +1

      What store did you check?

  • +4

This is not a very good fan. Weaker than a desk fan. I bought one and then returned it.

  • Hoxton Pk store.. the guy checked on the system if Bonnyrigg, Crossroads, Campbelltown and Narellan had any in stock. The result was nil @ 1.15pm

  • +1

    No stock in Cairns.

  • No stock as well in Artarmon, nsw

  • Heaps of stock in Midland WA…still says $94 on the shelf, but scans at $39…

There are 5 in scoresby and 2 ( returned by me) in bunnings nunawading. Pretty crap quality, Highest speed settings is like the lowest one on any pedestal fan out there. Tiny remote that works intermittently. Rather get the 11 dollar pedestal fan than these.

  • Got 2 at Bunnings Fountain Gate

    Ugleh!

Grabbed the only one left around Brisbane, it's about average in terms of airflow compared to other fans (we have half a dozen of them). It does look a bit cheap, and the remote pocket feels like it will break whenever I close it, other than that it is definitely worth the $39.

You can definitely get higher power pedestal fans, but these towers are good for more general airflow over your body rather than focused. It feels more like a consistent breeze.

Did you buy it from Underwood store? If yes, you beat me by 5 minutes…

      • Brendale, sorry mate it was someone else who ruined your day :)

  • Cheers OP ;)

I found few at broadmeadows (VIC) but it's not worth buying, I tested the air flow and it doesn't even reach more than a meter at high.

  • Got the last one at the Springvale, Vic store. It does the job for our small living room and bedroom. Takes up less space and easier to store than our old pedestal fan.

    • Just going to point out that power intake doesn't necessarily represent power. It could drain 100000w and still have little airflow.

  • Overall I find these tower fans a little worse for airflow but the major thing for me is the noise, they creak a lot and make more noise just generating and air. If I could find a scent pedestal with a timer and remote type stuff I think I'd go for that over one of these I future. For some reason the pedestal doesn't lens itself to remotes generally though.
