    • Does MWAVE charge a credit card fee?

If they do then the prices would be pretty close.

      • +1

MWAVE sell this one (E2400HD) for $255.00 :-)

    • Any instruction on OZbargain for how to remove the negative vote? Or it has to done by a MOD?

      • I think if spida hits the + at the top it will remove it.

        • Yeah… he can renege his negative but can't vote positive, his vote will be neutral.

        • tried it - no go

  • question, which one is better? Dell SP2309W 23" Full HD 2048 x 1152 $237 or this one?

    • Well the Dell has 13% more pixels (2359296 pixels) so has better resolution..
compared to the 1920x1080 (2073600 pixels)

it has 360 degree rotatable stand if that's a feature you'll use

and 5 usb ports which might be handy

      and it gets good reviews.

but the Benq is physically bigger at a full 24" compared to the 23.6"..

      Depends what you want

      • Thanks mate!

      • DELL SP2309W is 23”, not 23.6" :)

      • D'oh! I ordered 2 Dells yesterday, would have preferred these. Speakers are an everyday use item, but webcam is like once in a blue moon.

Both are great deals. Go the aussie dollar!

  • I am getting an error…wen i click on the link

I think you may use TPG as your ISP. As we just move our website to another server, TPG DNS Servers still haven't update our new DNS record. So if you want to view our website, you have to change your DNS server in your Internet Protocol Properties. www.opendns.com provides a good and free dns service. You can simply change your preferred DNS server IP address to 208.67.222.222, which is the opendns dns ip address. Hope this could help. Thanks.

  • yea its an alright deal but then again, isn't this he model up for $4 cheaper?

    http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=G2420HD&spo…

    • pretty sure that it's from a different series. this monitor is part of the "e" and the g2420 is part of "g". nice find though, don't know which monitor is better. tempted to buy a cheap 24" monitor some time this year

      • The E2400HD is a much better monitor, it's build-in with speakers and…

        Try google E2400HD vs G2420HD :)

        • lol u won me over, just bought 1

  • which is better? 16:9 or 16:10

    • +1

I like 16:10 as they are taller which is more useful when browsing web pages and documents.

The extra width in a 16:9 monitor is useless in every day desktop use.

      • 16:10 was designed so that you can put up two A4 documents side by side at the correct ratio.

For movies and entertainment 16:9 is used.

I use a 22" 16:10 LCD for my Xbox 360, it has black bars at the top and bottom to make it 16:9 since 16:10 isn't supported natively.

So 16:10, if you intend to use it mainly for document type stuff, and 16:9 if you want to play games and watch media.

one is http, one is https, any difference?

      • https is secure

It makes no difference, you only need https when you are signing in with a user name/password and entering your credit card details.

Just looking at the product https doesnt matter.

    • All TPG customer can't view our website correctly. We have contact TPG serveral times. But no help at all. They just say "please ask your customer to call us"

I think TPG DNS Server is the worst compare other ISP. Since we move our website to another server last Saturday, all orders are from other ISP other than TPG :-(

If you know how to change to another DNS Server in your computer, you can view our website without any problem. Sorry about the hassle!

  • +1 it's 242 and out of stock

  • how much is shipping? i can't view cause i'm with tpg

    • For all TPG customer!

You can manually enter these in the Windows Network connection properties.

Start —> Settings —> Control Panel —> (In classic view) Go to Network Connections
Right-click on the Local Area Connection and select Properties.
On the General Tab select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties
Since you seem to be able to Ping IP addresses OK don't touch the IP address settings. Only change the DNS settings.
Click Use the Following DNS server addresses and enter the 2 OPENDNS server:
      208.67.222.222
      208.67.220.220
      Hit OK
      Hit OK

Now clear your DNS cache (windows has probably cached the fact that it can't resolve some addresses). Close any open web browsers then:
Start —> Run —> Type cmd
In the command-prompt type ipconfig /flushdns

  • arghh shipping went up by 10 bux. should have bought it earlier wen i saw it
