Was looking for a better alternative to the MR4 deal posted last time (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/922201)

I don't know what edifier was thinking with the naming but the MR3 is a newer model compared to the MR4

Pros over the MR4:

    Probably named because this has 3.5" speakers and the mr4 has 4"

    My preference would be larger speaker cones to try and get some better bass, but not sure you will hear much difference from half an inch.

    Personally I prefer MR3 over MR4 as it's newer, more compact and with Bluetooth. Both will be the same price if choosing the black colour!

      Plus the MR3 doesn't need you to have the speakers at eye height for accuracy, they have a little bit of leniency if you have the tweaters below eye height.

      I'm using th MR4 and don't love that they need to be propped up so high for accuracy.

      R1700bts. Got them in the office at work. They are very good for their money and have far more power than the MR3
