Optus decided to switch the whole QLD into daylight saving this morning.
The glitch was fixed and they are giving out free coffee for "compensation".

Did we wake you? Sorry. Have a coffee on us. Head down to Merlo Coffee, 344 Queen St, Brisbane, before 1pm today and show your Optus mobile for a free coffee.
They'll send you a link on how to unfriend them.
Or the ones in the office still going on about it

They did you a service by giving you daylight savings! QLD, NT & WA seriously needs to get in on it.
Maybe the hope is that Qlders will wake up and smell the coffee then wind their clocks forward an hour with the rest of the east coast

Virgin is also running under Optus network and technically optus own them. I wonder if they are included.
You just need to show them your mobile screen with "Yes Optus" next to the reception bars to get a coffee.
… and presumably Telstra users can show a full-screen screenshot of the home screen of a friend's mobile.
