Go in branch, and you are likely to at least get your first years annual fee waived.

      From NAB site:

Card Earn rate per statement cycle
      American Express
1.5 points per $1 spent on eligible purchases
      Visa
0.5 point per $1 spent on eligible purchases

Pointless having an AMEX card for QFF points as so many retailers etc won't accept AMEX.

Other credit cards still offer 1 point per $1. Shop around.

My experience with NAB credit card is very bad, I've to call back & asking fix the detail data that they input incorrect, e.g qantas frequent flyer detail, it made 0 point earn included bonus for few months. The things is they won't fix it in short period. may take many weeks.

  • Am planning to get one of these and put $15k on it and hold it then pay back at 11.5 months then cancel. That way I can put all my money in my offset account. If you paying 4.88% on your home loan. Then this saves you around $700 in the year. Its dangerous though if they get you on the hook.

    • how to put $15k on it? by paying your mortgage? im not sure we can pay mortgage by CC?

  • Wonder why CBA doesn't have any such offer?
