Dont wanna buy a Chromecast for $40 so you are giving this a miss? Smart TV apps are not updates as regularly and are more prone to errors. For example Samsung smart TVs in the US still have issues with the netflix app. Chromecast is much cleaner imo.
Should be able to grab gumtree chromecast for $30. Or You can watch on a computer too. If chromecast too expensive for you get $2 hdmi cable and hook up your pc/laptop to tv? If thats too expensive then im out of ideas :(
It has nothing to do with cost.
I have 2 Smart TVs that runs Plex, iview, and Foxtel Play natively. If Stan can't get their act together to provide apps like Foxtel, netflix, Quickflex etc can then I'm not going to go out of my way to buy hardware just to use their service when there are other options available.
is the 30 day trial linked to your email ID or can I use someone else's code and activate with my email address? If this works please share the codes if you aint using.
Not sure if they're linked, but they're definitely unique and single use.

Just activated my account. Now I need to remember that if it's crap I need to ditch it before Feb 21!

That was before I found out that I'd need a Chromecast or Apple TV to use it. I'm not buying those so they won't be getting any money from me. Other providers manage to supply apps for Smart TVs, maybe when they come out with one for either Sony or Samsung I'll look at it again
