SanDisk Extreme 32GB Micro-SDHC 60MB-s Class-10 $34.95 @ Topbuy ($33.10 Via Price Match OfficeWorks)

50

I was looking for a memory card for my GoPro (SanDisk Extreme 32GB Micro-SDHC 60MB-s UHS-1 Class-10 Memory-Card - it's recommended by GoPro themselves) and found this. Price matched it with Officeworks to make it $33.10. (Topbuy has free shipping, not a clearance item so Officeworks can't complain). Best price I could find.

Hey mate, get rid of the price match. Off the top of my head, TopBuy is actually a grey import =)

    -EDIT-

Actually… domestic shipping, could it be ok? Or would OW still consider it a grey import?

This will be fine for your GoPro -
Samsung 32GB Class 10 EVO with adapter $20.80 Delivered Shopping Express Ebay Store.
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-MB-MP32DA-APC-Micro-SDHC-…

    • Go with the samsung Pro series. Much better pricing and actual faster write speeds too around 80mbs. Evo is comparable to the sandisk ultra series, which will be fine for lower quality, but if you are recording 1080p at 60fps then the pro will be better. Got mine off eBay 64gb for about US $40 shipped from amazon

Damn.. where's SE and PCByte with their SD card deals? Haven't seen one recently :(

  • So what are the thoughts of using micro-sd over standard size SD in DSLR cameras. Will be looking to upgrade my 16Gb Cards for upcoming trip, and every post I see is only for micro versions. I know it will work but do people generally want to stick with Micro over standard or vice versa?

    • It'll work but you do sacrifice reliability and durability.

microSD cards are just flimsier, smaller and more difficult to manage than full-sized SD cards. I wouldn't trust popping in and out a microSD card the way we do with full-sized SD cards.

If you do do this, my suggestion is to buy an individual adaptor for each microSD card you use, then tape the microSD card inside the adaptor and then just use than as individual SD cards rather than microSD cards.

Thanks, thats all I needed to hear. Ill keep my Micro cards for the phone and tablets and stick with the normal size cards for my cameras.

i got the sandisk ultra 64gig for $40 from officeworks yesterday. 5% price beat Unique Mobiles. The guy was happy to scrap the $5.00 postage price and beat UN price even know the OW one was slightly faster.

  • Went into my local store to see if they would price match, first guy was helpful though he then went to talk to another guy to find to show him the price.

The second guy, looked at the printed copy I brought in, went on to the Top Buy website couldn't find the deal and told me that it must have been a day only sale, I told him I had only printed the ad about 25 minutes ago. I directed him to the link, he then went through the Top Buy website to find something in regards to that Top Buy source their products from Hong Kong and that they (OfficeWorks) can't price match.

I only arrived home looked on to OfficeWorks' requirements for Lowest Price Guarantee and it does not say one thing in regards to their price matching having to be done with Australian Stock.

    • If it's not Australian stock it's not an identical item, and it does specify that.

  • would love to see a 64gb card.

ordered a gopro from the QFF deal which I need one for.

  • Awesome, just went and bought $2 and yeah they gave another $5 discount for price match
They were NOT 60Mbs but 45Mbs though.
They were the fastest ones there, Extreme.

    Thanks again
