Read the reviews before you purchase it though http://www.productreview.com.au/p/sunbeam-cafe-series-blende…

Hmm recent reviews seem pretty bad - but when I searched for reviews about 2 years ago it was a pretty high rated blender (priced under $200 - you had to spent $500+ to get better) and ours has been great.

Best price Ive seen it before is $199 at Good Guys - but its often up around $220-250.

We have been using this blender for about 18 months and we are pretty happy with it. The motor. Is very powerful.

I bought this on boxing day from HN. Awesome blender! Very powerful and blends everything to a paste if need be.

Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from. Time will tell. I clean mine immediately after every use.

  • Thanks for the reviews - I feel a bit better buying this now :D

Personally I swear by the Magimix blenders - GLASS jugs, metal base, very well made. BPA free or whatever, all the other high end blenders are still plastic which scratches and clouds over use.
