  • Got it a week ago its not bad.

Btw for those lf you with android and rooted you can get the xposed framework module called rootcloak it will get around the app not allowing rooted devices access.

    • why doesn't it allow rooted devices?

      • Idk kt just has a pop up as soon as you open the app.

Just use root cloak simple and easy.

  • "Unfortunately Google Chrome on Mac no longer supports plug-ins, so you won't be able to play videos on this browser." <- What? I can fathom why they think Chrome for Mac doesn't support plugins (it does). Of course if I open it in another browser I can't use Chromecast. Works OK from iOS though.

Disappointing set of movies… all old.. can't see myself paying $10/month for this.

    • yeah content is a bit disappointing… had stan for over a month and never used it as I haven't seen anything I have wanted to watch

    • They use Silverlight which Chrome does not support

  • Doesn't work on my phone because it's rooted.

Doesn't work my computer because it requires shitty propriety silverlight, and I use GNU+Linux.

It's 2015, we have HTML5 and WebM, please fix your site.

    Verdict: Total trash.

do as i said above to get past the root crap.
      use windows linux sucks.

  • Worth doing given its a free trial. The range of tv shows looks good but the movies look to be at least 4-5 years old. I won't be paying for it because although good on an iPad I'm struggling to watch on tv. I've tried connecting my iPad through hdmi and get the accessory not supported error and watching through my htpc was disappointing due to pic quality and sound.

Still good to see some competition in this space and hopefully it will get better.

    • The main problem with the content (for TV Shows) is that foxtel has all the exclusive rights to many popular shows in Australia. Kinda drags all these kinds of services down, will take a few years to get better..

  • I had it for a day before I cancelled.

Doesn't work on Chrome for OSX, didn't work on Firefox (despite saying so), had to use it on Safari.

Didn't work on my Nexus 5 since it's not rooted.

Poor selection of content, found the user interface pretty slow to find things.

It made my computer work overtime (albeit my computer is 4 years old, but not many sites can do that).

    Very half-baked…

  • I just signed up, not many movies/TV show. Will keep it for 2 weeks and I bet so many people will forget to cancel their account.

  • +1

I found a few TV shows to watch since getting the early trial. However, I can't see myself staying a subscriber for too long unless the movie selection is improved.

    • Same as myself, I have find some TV shows I like. After the 30 days…What do I watch as I have watched everything I liked already…

  • I would be interested but as I dont have a apple tv or chromecast to watch on my smart tv so will have to wait for the app.

    • The app is out for iOS and Android. I can start the streaming on my iPhone or Galaxy Tab and then cast it to the TV with Chromecast. Check your app store.

    • It amazes me that these guys will be trying to compete with Netflix, but they just aren't making it as accessible. Netflix will play on almost any device with an internet connection. Stan, Presto, Ezyflix etc release an app on ios and android then expect people to be using Chromecast etc.

I have chromecast but hate using my phone as a remote. I've much prefer to have it on any of my 4 consoles or smartTV.
