Cheers 4 this. Finally got some boardies at a good price.

    • Been searching for Boardies for a good price forever..
      Good pears on sale..
      No Sizes avaliable :(

      • That sux, I had no dramas getting size 32's for Quicksilver and Hurley

      • +6

What sort of pears do you like? Beurré Bosc, Winter Nelis, others?

        • +1

Up vote for you! I deserved that :P

  • -1

Awesome, though. What happened to free express shipping with no min?

    • +1

Free shipping over $25 still available.

      • Pretty good if you ask me!

  • +7

dont forget to go through cashrewards for your cashback https://www.cashrewards.com.au/surfstitch

    • Sorry how does this work? Have never done it

      • +1

Start from cashrewards and go to surfstitch (or any of the hundreds of stores) directly from cashrewards, shop as normal with the retailer and you earn cashback at the advertised rate on anything you buy, more info https://www.cashrewards.com.au/faq

        • Just out of curiosity, why can we do this? What's in it for cash rewards themselves?

        • +1

They either get a bigger percentage, or get interest holding onto your cashback before you take it out

  • +3

damn you, spent $540 on skateboards.

    • Haha, wow. What did you get?

  • +1

Awesome, thanks. I picked up a Oakley Hollowpoint watch for almost a 3rd of RRP.

    • +5

      Almost 1K for a quartz watch…?

      • -4

Yes. It's a good deal for a great watch.

        • +1

hate to say it, but I think paying 1K for a Quartz is nuts… Whatever floats your boat I guess

        • Honest question here…
What is great about this watch from your experience with Oakley watches…?
I would have spent the $$ on a Steinhart with ETA 2824 or even Glycine or Squale…

        • +2

          @pitiek:

Because I like Oakley. I have 3 other Oakley watches and the movement doesn't worry me. They look great (Personal opinion) and it's a unique design.

    • Blught my omega smp for not much more than this. Seems a lot to spend on a mediocre watch with a quartz movement.

      • Comes down to personal taste I suppose. I think it's a good deal for a good looking watch.

I have a number of other Oakley watches, so I was pleased to add this to the collection for a reasonable price.

  • OH MY GOODNESS

Just stocked up. Forgot to do cashrewards or use the free $20 off for my first purchase but still very happy. Got several pairs of shoes and heaps of shirts/t-shirts for $300.

Not often you get 50% these kinds of brands. Jump on fellow ozbargainers!

edit: My mistake it's $20 off for signing up to their newsletter.

    • +3

You can't combine $20 off and 50% codes, can you?

      • +3

        can't combine

  • Excellent. Scored myself a branded leather jacket (quite stylish) for $32. That does not happen every day.

    • +8

      Surely not real leather? @acemclean

I think most of them are PU?

      • +2

I can imagine lots of Ozbargainers jumping on a $32 leather jacket, even if it were covered in Nazi insignia

    • The Thrills Stranger Jacket? Half a jacket really… still cheap though lol

      • Yes that's the one! Was tempted to buy two of them to make a full jacket

  • Thanks.

  • I forgot to claim my free gift doh!

    • +5

      Can't combine codes.

  • Guys,
There were issues combining the code with Cash Rewards. This stopped after not using their link. I made a complaint to CR and hopefully come to a compromise. If you guys could make an enquiry to them, it may come to their attention better.

    • had the same issue, contacted them :)

    • +1

Andrew here from cashrewards, anyone else having this issue, not saying there isn't an issue but I've checked and worked for me?

      • Just bought another item and yes, it does work now. Same settings as earlier, using Firefox (I clear history before logging into cash rewards & redirecting just in case)

  • +2

Argh, just got a whole bunch of stuff for 30% off sale yesterday.

Oh well. Just reordered 2 things that were still in stock at 50% off, and will return the 30% versions. At least SS has an awesome returns policy.

    • Hah! i also purchased heaps last week from their 30% off sale. luckily everything is still in stock so doing the same thing!! :)

  • Some decent Sandqvist bags available for 50% off, snagged myself a new bag for work. Thanks

  • +2

For those looking for a "good deal" on a massively overpriced watch… http://www.surfstitch.com/product/oakley-hollow-point-watch-…

Supposedly $2500 RRP and most sellers have it for around $1200 - $2000 US on eBay. $875 with code. Could be a ballsy move for a resale if you think anyone would actually spend that much money for a designer watch from a sunglasses company…

    • +4

Better get in before Broden buys them all.

    • Hopefully without me coming out as a douche, what does everyone honestly think about this watch and the price? Could it possibly be worth it?

      • +2

I reckon if you're going to spend that much coin on a watch, you're better off getting a watch by a brand that specialises in watches.

      • Looks like ass. And quartz movement. Not sure what you're paying for with this watch..

    • +1
      1. buy watch
      2. keep watch wrapped
      3. wait for months
      4. sell watch
      5. go to kings cross
      • +2

Then take Hogwarts Express from platform 9 3/4?

    • You would be surprised. It will easily sell for $1000USD

  • Was so enticed by this deal I made another order today making it my 3rd this week!

  • Awesome deal! Thanks very much.

  • TY!
    Got a backpack for uni @ $25
    and a hat for work @ $15

    :D

  • Very fast shipping which is why they get my business. I bought items this arvo and already have tracking numbers.

Bought 1pm last thur, delivered 11am friday. QLD-VIC.

  • +2

They are awesome with their shipping times! Just be aware some prices have been put up a bit. I noticed it alot with the kids clothes but still some bargains to be had…Hurley hoodie for $26 is unheard of!

    • +2

Yep, I noticed all sale North Face clothing/footwear goes back to RRP when you click on the item. Their markup on certain products/brands must be too low to offer 50% off.

  • +6

This is crap. Most of the discounts are like 10% or 15% off. When the discount code was 30%, the discounts were like 25% to 40% off…

  • -3

Had a look and only found hipster looking crap styles on sale.

  • +4

Hi guy's jollywallet are also offering 14% cashback on SurfStitch, enjoy.

    • I'd rather use a trusted, Aussie site like cashrewards. There's something about jollywallet that seems sketchy. Has anyone dealt with this site had any issues?

      • Ok why neg?

      • +1

I bought an Xbox One bundle using jollywallet recently and although there was no record of the purchase they honoured the Cashback and sent through the rewards straight away, If in doubt you could always screen shot the purchase conformation with the activated jollywallet tool bar at the top.

New members also get a $5 signup bonus.

        • +2

Thanks for the suggestion! I used Cashrewards and there were stuff ups and just tediously waiting for their reply.
Jollywallet seem to be offering a better deal and more offers

  • Thanks OP.

  • Anyone else having issues paying at checkout

Unable to get details for PaymentGroup pg276817721 because a prior Set status was not found.

    • i got the same thing too and their livechat said 'Unfortunately our checkout stage has crashed at the moment, hopefully it will be fixed in the next hour or two.'

  • +1

i usually don't bother with surfstitch but got a dakine skate pack for only $22.00(!) thanks OP

  • Bought about 300 of stuff for 150 - cheers for this

  • -3

Hmm.. Just noticed I didn't click on the activate link in my email from cash rewards before i shopped through the site to surfstitch.
Does this mean I won't get cash back? :O

Also. Surfstitch sent through a code of $20 off when you spend $100, Doubt you can stack it with the 50% off code..
    But .. I don't plan to use it.. ;)

  • +1

Has anyone had their order actually ship?!

    • ordered my dakine pack sunday night, got it yesterday. also the skateboard i bought on monday night was sent out yesterday.

      • Missed the delivery guy yesterday. Order is at post office. That's pretty good.

Though 2 items I ordered have been refunded as they were actually out of stock.

    • Got a shipping notification for an item ordered on sat night straight away but hasn't progressed past "shipping information accepted by auspost", another item I have received no info on

  • Got mine. Wish sale was extended I prob want to order more now

    • Same.
