I'm fairly sure Costco had this for about $492 about 3 weeks ago.
I'd get it from Costco, then you have a continuous warranty as long as you keep updating the membership. If the console dies in 10yrs, take it back for a refund.
People always seem to forget about that and only look at the dollar figure.

I would not reasonably expect a console to last for over ten years.

I didn't believe either at first but I questioned a lady at the service desk about it before I bought my TV from there a few months ago.
I said, so if the TV dies 5 or more years down the track, I can bring it back for full refund?
She said Yes! I then mentioned that Costco in the US put a stop to this as many people were abusing the service. They would buy a huge TV for the Superbowl and then return it the next week. She said that the US Costco is separate from Australia and there are no plans to get rid of the return policy here. Awesome!
Probably a stupid question, but would hardly Normal price match/beat Costco?
It was $494 last month. Better off get the JB deal with NBA2K15 and FIFA15 for $20 more.

JB, was online but I bought it in store. They have 3 different deals. Call your local JB to find out if they still have it. Don't forget to ask for discount if you want any accessories. They took $15 off the extra controller I bought with the deal.
