Can anyone recommend a roof restoration in Melbourne? I need some re-pointing done, then new paint to look good. I have quotes from $4000-$10000+ but I'm not sure of their work as I looked them up from local paper. If anyone has a good job done , please recommend.

Re-pointing etc and new roof, not paintingA bit more $ than the rest but my neighbours roof tiller doing his re-pointing even told him how good a job he thought they did on my place.

That sounds very expensive. I've seen adverts (and signs on electricty poles) for well under $2000.
I had a bit of a look at this kind of thing a while back, and I came to the conclusion that it was more of a shortish term cosmetic procedure than anything lasting. Perhaps your $4K-10K prices are for something better.
