    Model?
Always good too compare with Hong Kong eBay sellers, pick with good feedbacks and you will save a lot. Genuine of course.

True. I prefer local stock, but if it is over 60-80 dollars cheaper than the local, then there is no point getting it local. Few sellers in Singapore sends via registered air mail which is delivered in 7-8 days.

After a bit of digging this is a GA100-1A4 which can be easily delivered from HK for ~$130.

Not gonna neg an L plate, but no deal I'm afraid… Keep hunting the good hunt :)

  • Wearing this exact watch atm, got it from Angus & Coote about 6 months ago at this price as well. Happy to answer any Q's.

First question: Why did you pay a 40% premium at Angus and Coote when you can get the same watch delivered to your door for less? :)

      • pick one (or more):
        1. he wasnt aware of grey import
        2. supports local store
        3. need the watch NOW not tomorrow

… perhaps my smiley face did not adequately express my tongue, firmly in my cheek…

        • Tough crowd…

  • Got the same watch in red last year from Star Jewels on sale much cheaper but that was last year. The only issue I have with mine is the hour hand is difficult to see in the dark even with the built in light on but it is no biggie if you got good eyes.

Two pearls of wisdom from a bonafide G-Shock-aholic:

    1. The going rate on a GA100 series is $100-160. This goes for virtually any non-limited edition ana-digi G-Shock without an ABC sensor in it. Don't pay anymore than that.

    2. Don't buy Casio merchandise from Hong Kong as a general rule. It may seem tempting and almost too good to be true (because it usually is) but there are so many persisent scammers with multiple sock accounts flooding Ebay now, almost all of which have ridiculously positive ratings. When in doubt, Google the seller's name and sniff around for any bad press; the really notorious scammers are well-documented on watch forums and so forth.

Japan, Singapore, the US and Australia (i.e. Star Jewels) are the go-to locations for guaranteed genuine stock.

    • Thanks for Pearl 2. I have been very tempted several times. But can they really fake so much positive feedback?

    • being a G-shock-aholic, would be able to recommend any genuine ebay stores? I once bought from from a HK site can't remember the name for $140 GA100-1A2, it works and looks fine (was recommended by a HK friend)

      • I have bought 4 G's from Ebay HK sellers with no issues… Legit watches and pretty reasonable (within 2 weeks) shipping.

Starjewels in SG defo the way to go though if you can…

horrible deal. they are around $100 at star jewel and that's local stock.
