      It is a good price but it has been $997 at Harvey Norman late last year (yes the i5/4GB/128 model). No longer that price though.

    I bought a EVO 850 after people couldnt stop raving on about it, it's my main OS is now running it on as I migrated off the Kingston V300 SSDNow!

    Honestly I saw nothing "evident" of the raves and reveiws. Don't get me wrong, the Samsung EVO 850 are great…but my boot time has not changed by a second from the Kingston SSD with exactly the same image applied

      it hard to see different from v300 to 850 pro but the different in price is huge

      only main things are

      Software , warranty -

      load time in heavy games would be less then 5 sec different - or benchmarks
      the avg user will find it difficult to tell the different in a blind test

        yep agreed. by all means the EVOs are the best consumer grade SSDs, in terms of warranty, support, software, and I guess stability. but with these raving reviews, i went out and bought the EVO in anticipation my boot time will be cut by 10secs and my Outlook program that runs with 6 emails will load cached data much faster - found hardly any diff,

        I had added code, price went to $142.00. I was then forced to pick $9.25 shipping.
        That shipping cost is then removed from total
