Great games if you ask me, they do need some mods installing to get the best out of them and there are many good mods to try. The complete mods here http://www.moddb.com/company/dolgovstudio being a good set for improving the base games without messing with the original story etc.

  no DLC but a lot of MOD:
  SoC: Oblivion Lost or Complete
  CoP: Misery or Complete

  I wouldn't play SoC without Complete as the graphics would look too old.

    Yeah, I'd normally not recommend playing this game with mods the first play-through but Complete is about as close to the original game you'll give with the addition of a few fixes and way better graphics. There's also Autumn Aurora which is more of a realism (and difficulty) overhaul with really nice graphics.

  Looking forward to replaying all 3! Complete sounds like a must but I'm reading mixed reviews of the other popular mods.
