Kogan Grocery Price Comparison

I heard about this a few weeks ago via Techguide on the radio a few weeks ago. I saw a further article today on the News Website. There is also more info on the Choice website.
There is a previous post which I only just saw (Nothing came up when I did a Forum search).

Shipping is $9.99

Has anybody had any experience with Kogan Groceries, or how it compares to Aldi?

Compares more with Grocery run than Aldi, not a huge range, some cheap items, but postage takes a toll unless getting a lot.

pfft. you're only saving if your buying stuff you actually need.

i don't use grocery run because it is seems to be mostly random short-dated junk. i won't be using kogan either. and added shipping makes it mostly uneconomical.

buying stuff you need when it is on special at the supermarkets seems the most straight forward method of saving to me.

    • I bought some toothpaste and hot sauce the one time I used grocery run. I bought like 3 years worth though because otherwise the shipping makes it not worthwhile.

  • Really not worth it when you have postage to consider.

  • Disagree. Buy bulk with ur friend, delivery us $10 regardless of the order size. Or even 3-4 families can buy together and share delivery fee. Ie, Herbal Essence shamboo is around $30 for the pack of 24, so roughly $1.3 per bottle, when it is about $6 full price in chemist/super or $3-4 when discounted. So basically if shampoo is in ur order, it already absorbs the delivery fee. And u will have other items as well…

We bought together with my friend, yes it is may be 1 year supply of shampoo, soap, cleaning gels, etc, but it works cheaper if u compare to supers.

  • Morning, I am looking at Kogan and wonder if anyone buys from the Pantry items their sale items seem really cheap, so thinking ordering in bulk so I cover the postage. Has anyone used them?

  • anyone here buy from Kogan?
