Surprised this issue hasn't blown up by now.
I have already been hit with a $4.99 subscription fee, despite the season not starting yet (has it?), and of course no sign of the free pass!
I assume there are thousands of others in the same boat, a nice little earner for Telstra!
At a minimum it would be nice to just be told we're eligible and when to expect the pass. We're guessing we wait until the season starts - but does anyone know any more or know for sure?
That's what I'm scared of. I don't mind the $5 if it means I get what was promised.

The "competition" was very vague about when the season pass would be activated..
How did you get charged the subscription fee? Don't recall having to provide any payment details.
I'm pretty sure there was no other option. Maybe they had quickly added it once the avalanche began.
I'm confused. How did Telstra charge you? CC, phone bill?

I got a monthly pass that renews every 30 days (according to their conditions)
I got that too, hoping that it renews for free because a month of footy now won't be very interesting!

Just checked and I got my pass about a month ago, very happy.
I think they saw that they got around 10k entries in one day
with around 99% not logging in since that day
they prolly thinking of a way out of giving free passes to people to these people
