I know now that berries from China are dangerous. Are cucumbers from Lebanon safe?

Shouldn't matter if you use a condom.

      The title should say

      Lebanese 'Style' Cucumbers

    • With a handle like yours, hmmm…

  • +2

That must be huge cucumbers, nearly 500gr each.

    • That's what she said ;)

Um, Lebanese cucumbers are grown in Australia… they are just a variety of cucumber (the nicest variety IMHO). Sorry if I missed the sarcasm above…

      It was definitely sarcasm above.

Open wide, Lebanese cumbers coming inside ! Haha

  • They must be close to growing moulds?

    Are they I.S cucumbers?

    • Yes, they is cucumbers.

Was waiting for that one racist comment. Ignorant redneck.

      • -3

I.S is not a race and neither is Muslim. Now who is ignorant in calling this racist? Umm… that would be you.

        • Good way to cower in a shroud of technicality. If an American thinks he is superior to all Australians, then that too isn't racism either, since American and Australian aren't technically races but are nationalities. But we all know that in principle it is tantamount to racism.

Implying Lebanese are in I.S is racist. How is that not obvious? Who said anything about Muslims? Nice try though.

Something is amiss with their weight calculations.

Continental cucumbers are usually ~400g-500g' each.

Lebanese variety are usually much smaller. Normally it takes ~5 of them to make up 1KG.

  • I totally agree with some of the above posts.
Lebanese cucumbers NEVER weigh 500 g each. They are normally about 150 - 200 grams each. So at 32 cents each the price per kg will come to about $1.60 - $2.15 per kg.
Telegraph cucumbers usually weigh between 300 and 450 grams.

    • How much are they normally per kg?

      • Usually $2.99-$4.99, depending on where you shop

        • +1

          Currently $1.80 at Coles

      • Presently they can be bough for about $1.50 to $1.99 depending on the shop. But of course some stores sell them at a bit higher price.
