KFC 12 for $12 is back again. Was watching India v SA on Foxtel, when the ad popped up. Seems it's a national offer, but only for a limited time.

Click here to see the video of the ad (excuse the quality).

Enjoy :)

    C U Next Tuesday KFC

  • +5

extra credit for capping with phone and uploading

  • +1

Tell me you lot don't put this down in one sitting…

    • +2

      One sitting?

I order 2 x 12 piece deals, can usually get through all 12 crispy strips and between 6-8 of the chicken pieces for dinner. Then wash it all down with 2 x double strength red bulls. Feeling good by sun up.

      • +17

How are you not dead yet?

      • +5

I used to work at KFC about 10 years ago and we used to have a lady come in every Sunday morning and eat a mega feast to herself.

      • +4

Still young but when it catches up with you it will catch up with you hard…

      • +1

Sweet mother of god! Please tell me this isn't a weekly occurrence?

  • +14

9 for $9.95 is a better deal for me
    hope it's still available :(

    • +1

      It's not..

    • +3

At least its a full piece chicken. A Crispy strip doesnt count as a full piece to me..

    • +2

I wish so too but i doubt it will come back again.. 12 for 12 is like kfcs response to inflation.

    • It's still available at some places, at least around Brisbane.

    • maths doesn't agree

  • I saw the banner behind the 24 nuggets for $10 so was wondering if this was coming back.

    • Apparently the chicken nuggets from ktc have gone downhill? I remember they used to be one of the best.

      • +3

sure have. tried the 24 for $10 a few days ago. now just compressed half-frozen junk. i saw them throw the 24 in a fryer for 3 minutes, and then serve them straight up to me, still boiling…whs issue. plus you cant even choose the sauces…you get one of each, so you better like sweet and sour, and chilli.

        • +1

Might depend on the store. Had this midweek at Pagewood NSW and was given my choice of sauces (2 supercharged, and 2 sweet and sour)

        • You can can choose the sauces if you use the XpressApp if your store is a participating store.

      • +4

Prefer Popcorn chicken any day than any Nugget from anywhere..

        • lately i have taken a liking to taka's kitchen (Chicken Karaage).

i know its cheap and nasty, but hell, for what ive paid, its bloody good.

        • @t25: Bit hard for everyone to like Takas… But I do agree. Only issue is the burps afterwards still taste like the chicken lol.

        • +1

@jlogic: i dont dare eat it before going to a business meeting. the burp can be very overpowering, even for someone who quite enjoys it.

how does this deal compare to the current 24 nuggets for $10?

    • +32

      How do they compare?

This deal has 24 less nuggets than the 24 nugget deal.
Add 6 pieces of chicken and 6 crispy strips and pay $2 more and you now have the 12 for 12 deal.

      • +10

How does this deal compare to the Supercheap Auto 20% store wide deal?

  • Yeah, cheap chicken. I just take off the skin.

However, doesn't beat the ~$2 a kilo Steggles from Woolworths a few weeks ago.

    • +5

the skin is the best part of the KFC chicken. taking it off won't make it any less healthier…

      • +3

won't make it any less healthier

Exactly; it will make it healthier :p

  • +2

Are these free range chicken or caged?

    • +10

I'd be asking 'Are these made of Chicken, or what'?

    • +4

      Deep fried.

    • +1

Do they use free range eggs or caged eggs in the batter?

      • +4

I did a tour last year, and no eggs were used.

  • +2

I miss the original recipe deal… Original Recipe > Crispy Strips

  • +3

Wait until you taste KFC chicken in the Philippines, top it off with the best tasting gravy in world…heaven. :) You can also have it in hot n crispy not just original recipe. Filipinos love to pour KFC gravy all over their rice, that's how we eat KFC chicken in the Philippines. :) Apparently here, the chicken taste different as well as the gravy, not sure why.

    • Hormones… I always worry about Asian KFC… normally bigger than the pieces that we get here in Australia.

      • Expired chicken last year in Asia.

        • -3

Its good they do this in china, at least they screwed their own people this time, after the chinese frozen berries being sold here.

    • +2

I think our chickens would be a tad healthier (hormone injections aside) :P

    • You're un-strayan.

  • +1

    PROTEIN DAY! Thanks!

    • haha man if you think this is a high protein food (relative to carb/fat content) you need to check the nutritional info!

  • -5

I really can't believe you guys eat this rubbish, one day you be wishing you didn't when you are on your death bed.

    • +13

I suppose the same could be said when you're on your death-bed wishing you had eaten it :)

      • +3

You only live once… Everything is ok in moderation. So better to experience it than to not to.

        • Once a month is fine… not asking you to eat it for every meal.

    • +2

      Gotta die of something…

    • +1

Bit dramatic. Although there are a lot of trash eaters on here.. I imagine their dinner week reads something like:

      Mon - Dominos $3.95 x 2
      Tues - KFC
      Wed - Ristorante x 2
Thurs - Hungry Jacks - couple of burger meals
      Fri - Dominos again..

.. then snack all night with whatever the current ice cream or chocolate deal is, then there's the alcohol. Eeeeek.

That is early grave material, I don't care what you're eating for lunch.

      • when KFC tuesday isn't on it's HJ's 2 for 1 Twosdays. Also current maccas big mac promo or dinner boxes spread over a couple days. Also KFC $5 box when it's on.

  • This photo of chicken is nibbling my Wallet to an unusual ass-pecked ratio. (pun intended)

  • i love ozbargain!

  • Watching Foxtel? I hope you're not paying full price! ;)

    • I hope you're not paying full price!

      Does anyone?

  • are there any 24hrs KFCs in Sydney?

    • Maybe George St in Town Hall?

      • +1

Nah they close late but not 24 hours (at least on the weekdays). Don't think there are any 24h stores.

    • Are you planning on waiting till midnight and going in for a KFC raid?

    • Hrmmmm that would be a nice midnight snack after a night out…

    • None anymore I'm afraid (I think..)

I just asked at the new-ish one in Haymarket: closes 2am weekdays, 5am weekends. (needed a place for my deep fried chicken fix after my weekly Blackjack losses; stupid casino food places close at around 3am)

  • Has anyone managed to stack the "kfc feedback" offer with this?

  • KFC can't you see!!
good deal ahead, fill yourself with chicken and bread.
Chicken filled with gee em oh,
Get whats your and just die slow.

The indian manager told aussie staff to give me 2 chicken sticks and 2 chicken wings instead of 4 original recipe chicken in front of me. Better avoid the KFC shop at 128 BELL STREET PRESTON VIC.

    • what does it matter what race the manager or staff were?

      • +1

I am just telling the truth and will leave judgement to others. The girl who served me put 6 original chicken in the box at first, but the manager asked her back to the kitchen area and picked 4 original chicken out of the box, then put another 2 wings and sticks into the box.

        • You are telling the truth while emphasizing (with bold letters too) the country / race of the people involved.

The second time you tell the story you do not appear to be the racist that you are from the first comment.

        • +2

@mihai.petrescu: Maybe I just was a little bit upset when writing the first comment. And I learn from people. Will be careful about my words next time.

  • I just used the Xpress App, and the deal popped up in the 'Tasty Rewards' section. Maybe a glitch?

  • Saw this deal at Macquarie Center(NSW) today, I was too afraid to walk near….

My cloth is now holding me firm enough…. :(
