Which I bought last week. If I knew it would be this cheap on the AU PSN this week I would have waited :(

Why pay more?
US$48 is $AU60.
Secondly if it was only a few $$$ I prefer to have a game on my AU account simply because that's where the majority of my games are.

Whilst I find it impossible to agree with IGN's game picks for any year, no matter the award ("Paid Us The Most Money This Year 2014 Award"), 2014 was grossly stagnant for videogames, so this is indeed one of the best from last year. That unfortunately, isn't saying much.
I would probably give my GOTY pick to Shovel Knight though, just out of peer pressure.
But this game's still pretty good, if a little bit too streamlined. Well worth $55
Agreed. 2014 was a lackluster year for gaming. I can't even name a title worthy of Best Game. The reward should be renamed to Least Worst Game of 2014.

Disc has resale value, digital does not. If you don't care and just want to play it now, get this.
How big is the download….
Install size is 40-46 GB and initial install is around 5-7 GB. So, no idea what the actual download is.
