Crunch Gym - $299 for 16 months, No admin or sign up fee.

150

Found out about this from a mate. Went past Crunch Parramatta and signed up last night. The head office can pull the plug on this anytime so be quick. It works out to $18.68 per month. This deal is not advertised elsewhere but if you go up to the counter and ask for it, they will honour it.

  • Noticed there is a huge Crunch gym opening at Highpoint Vic, This offer is definitely worth it ~ $5 a week.

Do you just rock there and ask to join for $299 ?

    • I suppose 'huge' is subjective. The Highpoint gym is just replacing the Fitness First that closed down late last year. It's a pretty standard size, actually. The existing shop lot is long but narrow.

When I went past a couple of weeks ago, it looked like it was no where near opening. It was just empty space. The guys inside the center are always promoting on the weekend (near the food court).

I personally wouldn't sign up until I see the completed gym and know what I'm signing up for.

  • Was a member at one of their gyms, but it is just too crowded (partly due to the cheap fees) and the change room does not smell good either!

  • is it only at parra?

    • parra / bankstown

not sure about parra quality but bankstown one is really really good i love it over the snap / fitness firsts / anytime fitnesses around the area

      • Parking at Bankstown is horrible though. Double parkers every hour of the day and every day of the week. They even park in the emergency vehicles parking spots.

Shopping centre doesn't give a damn and won't lift a finger to enforce the rules.

        • i actually have a shared membership with my girl so we go in the morning around 9-10s on weekends where there will still be parking

anytime after 11 is kinda terrible unfortunatley

the best part about crunch is that you can bring a friend in for free so my girl and i just share the membership cost :)

(you need to write your details at reception because they try to call and sign you up later, i just write fake name and numbers and use the membership)

          bargain!

realistically this "over the counter" offer is $299 for membership for 2 people over 16months :)

  • I believe this breaks the fitness industry code of practice

    See: FairTrading Code Summary Section

    • not accept pre-paid membership/renewal fees beyond a 12-month period

      You mad bro?

      • i'm pumped bro!

    • Think they get around it by offering it as bonus months… I paid $299 for 15 months last year when I signed up for Bankstown

  • Do fitness first etc match prices?

  • Nice. I currently pay $14 a week with my gym.

  • If only anytime fitness could match this deal.

  • Wow, what a deal!

  • I was a member at Parramatta and while the membership rate was cheap, you get what you pay for. Its a good gym if you can attend in NON PEAK periods. Due to work I had to go during peak periods i.e between 5 30pm - 7pm and the weights area was simply unusable from Mon to Thurs. Every piece of weights equipment was used and some of the guys there spend 20 mins on the cables. Also it seems as if many members in that gym have never heard of showering or deodorant.

  • +1

    is it basic one?

  • Can't find deal anywhere?

    • this deal as stated in the offer is "over the counter" so you gotta ask the reception for it, not advertised publically
