  • If I don't particularly care for fighting games but do like persona 3 will I like this game?
Is there enough Story/vn/dialogue to make this interesting?
hmm an amazon review thinks it'd be decent for someone who doesn't care for fighting games.
Another reviewer even said you can put your character on ai mode and not even need to do the fighting.
Also I find it funny that even though I'm pretty sure my local has one in stock It's not available for pickup via the website only some shops 100's of ks away are available.

The story is very robust. The first game has 30 hours of story but it's mostly reading like a visual novel. The second game is much more streamlined but it still has a long story mode. Also you can get the story mode from the first game in Ultimax via DLC which costs about $15.

      • oh well that sounds excellent Personas games have excellent story so should be enough there for entertainment. Now I'll just need to finish P3 Fes for the first time then finish P4G then I can play this one lol.

Actually from further research it looks like this is a direct sequel to p4a and not just a updated version so to enjoy/follow the story you need to buy P4a and then P4a Ultramix? Oh just realized you told me this via the Dlc comment.
(also P4a original is one of the few region locked ps3 games)

  • Thanks OP picked one up today they had a good had one copy on the shelf and a few more behind the counter. Wonder why the stocks not listed on the website.

Also tried to see if I could get P4A (the first one) at 29 as it's now like 18 months old but still at $69.
Staff said it couldn't go that low. Funny how this one which is 3-4 months old is at $29 now. Wonder how that works.
