Kogan 1000W Professional Food Processor & Blender $75 Delivered

20

Kogan 1000W Professional Food Processor & Blender. Description on the website says it Chops, whips, slices, shreds, kneads, blends and more!

Not sure, if it had been that low before (I have seen it at $99 once) , but seems good deal for a 1000w food processor cum blender.

Does anybody have one? Are they any good for 75 dollars?

    • +2

Yeah, good price. I don't need the blender side of it, but the processor and the kneading option is of interest. We have a kitchenaide mixer, and honestly the kneading side of that is just total crap. You'd be better off sticking the dough on a stick and waving it in the XXXXing air. I'm no fan of kitchenaide. Their blender was total rubbish too - impossible to make a smoothie with it. The best you could hope for was a "chunkie"…

  • hope the blenders are better than their tvs

I was going to buy Philips HR7762/90 ($109 including delivery on ebay). This review was good and I can't find kogan processor review. Any suggestion between this two.

I could not find a review myself. However, one of mates have the Philips and they really like it.

      • Thanks dreamz. I was going to buy Philips until I saw this. This price is really tempting.

    • I have been searching all night and found this one on greys online. $129.95 delivered + 5.6% cash rewards :)

Pretty good deal and reviews (check out sites for reviews too)

Thanks.this one looks better including juicer.

  • Has anyone got one of these and can comment on the quality? our previous food processor died a few days ago, is this worth the $75?

    • I wouldnt buy it. Here's why.

Years ago I bought some headphones. Beat look alikes. I threw them away. They were $40 down to $9 and they came broken. But they clipped back in. Rubbish.

Last year I bought a few things from them.
A Magic bullet clone. It's average a best. Too much plastic that chips away and one from Kmart is good enough.
I bought a water flosser. So bad. So weak. I contacted support under warranty and I was told to find an electronics repair place.
I bought recently an Ovela Professional Stainless Steel Knife Block Set (7 Piece). First day after washing I put in the dish washing rack to try. They came up with rust spots. I did not use a tea-towel to dry them, I never have needed to. It's cheap but nasty.

But all is not lost. I bought a 24kg adjustable dumbbell from Kogan and it's good. No complaints at all.

Anyway this is a good price. But for an average at best product. I would rather spend a little more and get something from bigw that you could take back if you had to. Or ebay. Just a big brand.

I have recently started looking into, and bought, power blenders. They are like up to 3HP, 2200watts, spin up to 44,000rpm. They get the job done and have metal cogs etc.
Look at the specs. Max rpm of 1550
I would like to see more pictures and then I would see the plastic that wears down.
