Are these better than the ones from Officeworks ?

    • Yes.

LIES! my milkcrate is comfy as

        • Careful, those milkcrate patterns on your buttcheeks will become permanent when the wind changes! (or comes out)

        • You should upgrade to the official, approved Ozbargainer's chair…

        • @jv:
mate dont get ahead of yourself, its ozbargain not antiques roadshow……….

  • Huh? Is there a link to the deal?
Also, anything in the $100-$200 range?

  • How does one know this is a deal, what do they usually retail for?

  • And this is a bargain because?

    • -5

about $100 at Officeworks. not sure $900 more is a bargain.

      • What Ozbargainer would buy a $1000 office chair? lol

Someone that wants to save on medical bills in the future

What Ozbargainer would buy a $1000 office chair? lol

That's like saying… what Ozbargainer would buy a MacBook or ThinkPad when they can buy an eMachines laptop from Coles (or Medion from Aldi)?

        • I purchased a Teknion Contessa last year for a bit over $1k and i'm very happy with the purchase. Got it with a fabric seat instead of mesh and it feels so comfortable, fully adjustable and it's made in Japan so you know it will last.

        • Me. I own a Mirra 1. And it's good (for me)

Mirra 1 = $1200 when I bought it. Never seemed to come on sale either.

  • Hi

We would normally sell this model of Mirra 2 for $1265 inc GST.

We have excess stock so we have reduced the price to $999 inc GST.

  • According to the "Herman Miller" website its selling for $669, even if that is USD means it still is only $871 AUD. So this doesn't seem much like a deal.

Try get that chair shipped over here…

      • Valid point, yep cannot get it shipped to Australia.

        • -2

          Plus tax.

  • I have an Aeron and a Mirra. I think Aeron is much more comfortable.

    • Aeron is best!

      • +1

        Then milkcrates, then Mirra…

        • milkcrates - 1
          Aeron - 2
mirror - always broken too ugly

    • I have a Mirra and strongly dislike the Aeron. It's going to vary person-to-person.

  • I have a Formway Life chair at home and the Mirra at work and find the Formway much better. Mirra isnt bad but just not as comfortable for me. Price is about the same for each of them and 10 years on the Formway that I used once when the mesh on the back pulled away. Some of the Mirras we have at work crack\break where the backrest attachments attach.

    • I can confirm mine broke here too. Fixed under warranty. Sadly, they failed somewhat at engineering design as you can't pull/push your chair by the back mesh (which is the top of the chair), you need to use the support bar that it connects to.

Can you do a deal on the Aeron OP? $900 again please: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/91494

    • Yeah. They were great. I got my Aeron from them for $880 back in 2013. I guess due to weaken AU Dollar, it is no longer viable…

      • Actually they went up before AUD crashed

  • +2

i'd recommend people actually test these chairs before investing in one, despite their adjustibility anatomies and preferences vary wildly

  • Preferred the Mirra 1,

  • Are you able to send to Vic?
