I like New Balance as a long wearing comfortable runner - anyhow there's a deal on, so if you are like me and favour the NBs, it's time to stock up.

Same as the COTD sale a few weeks ago except instore not online. I got two pairs from that sale and Im really happy with them.

Collingwood is pretty good, two levels. Southwarf, I was there on tuesday, smaller than Collingwood, but decent enough. Bought a pair of Runners from there a couple of weeks ago.

Opposite Footscray Station, and next to Subway, theres a tiny shoe shop that sells Asian import NB. $50 for most of them.

It's their annual 40% off everything sale. Nothing new there. Came home disappointed from Smith St store. It was much better in previous years - more styles, more wide varieties, definitely better prices. Only left with one pair today. If you are going to US any time soon, give this a miss.
Birkenhead Point store had lots of stock, and if you can't see your size on the shelf, then it may be out the back. Brilliant prices. The same model of shoes that I bought at Rebel for $130 were there marked down to $90, and then they applied the 40% discount!! Voila $54. Lots of kids shoes too, marked down to $40, and then apply the 40% off!!
So, we spent $258 (RRP just over $1K, FWIW) at Smith St (got there at 9:05 Friday, place was close to empty). Four pairs of decent quality shoes and 10 pairs of decent socks (2 x 5packs) for me, and two hoodies, two pairs of track pants, and a pair of good gym pants for the better half.
Staff were excellent, as usual.
Awesome prices at Cheltenham.
Are there any New balance classic 996/998 models? really keen on those.
There were some classic models but as this is my first time buying NB i didn't pay attention to the numbers. I got a classic 395 (checked just now). Better call in store before heading out.
