Hey guys, so I went to Macquarie Centre last night to see EB had moved "literally" across the hall to the other side.

I went in and one of the store staff (Jess - super helpful) said that there was a promotion for their store move! 20% off most things in the store. Honestly I'm not one to buy from EB very often due to their higher prices. There wasnt any promotional material in the store that I could see

Anyway, I also received the attached email [http://i.imgur.com/I3I4WrN.jpg] later that day detailing the terms and conditions;

Only available instore at EB Games Macquarie Centre when purchasing software or accessories from Tuesday 24th March to Sunday 29th March 2015. Excludes consoles, phones, and tablets. Other exclusions may apply. Not available on price matching. Not to be combined with any other offer. See staff for details.

If you're not an EB World Member you can sign up at the store for free anyway. They just send occasional spam.

    20% off of a free hug from EB staff gave you a virtual "air" hug.

    Been to one of these moving sale. I bought a PSN Plus as it wasn't in the exclude list in the relocation poster nor the enmail I received and expecting a 20% off discount at cashier.

    The staff wasn't sure and made a call to some random manager/guy and then told me "Nup, PSN plus is excluded." Not even a "Sorry".

    Not that I didn't expected that as most of the time game card are excluded in any promotion. But they could have handle it better by putting ALL EXCLUDING items on that damn poster.

    I end up not going to that EB store ever again.

  Interesting - this one doesn't specifically exclude prepaid cards (PSN, Xbox Live etc.).

  Though that's probably covered under their "other exclusions may apply", it could be worth a shot.

    Yeah the store guy there (didn't get his name) said that it excluded digital content. When I asked what that was he said vouchers for Steam, LoL, etc. Makes sense.

    Been there, done that.
    Don't waste your time. PSN plus and all game card are 100% excluded.

    And they can virtually add anything as "discount excluded with their "other exclusions may apply"

    This 20% off is only good for 2nd hand game.
