Thank you. Works on Bonds singlets.

  • Thanks! Got some Bonds tees for under half price with free shipping!

  • Can anyone explain what the underwear actual sizes are?

    On Targets site L is 92cm and XL is 97cm. On Bonds site - http://www.bonds.com.au/size-charts - L is 95 - 100cm and XL is 105 - 110cm. Big difference …

PS Does the sale apply in-store too, so I can check before I buy?

The sizing is taking into account for stretch of the elastic waist band. It depends some people like a tighter fit where others prefer it looser. Personal preference really, the point on your waist it sits also needs to be considered and varies from style to style.

So basically there is no exact size, you'll have sample one and use that as a point of reference.

      • Thanks, I'll drop in and see.

I own 3 or 4 different styles of bonds underwear, which are all the same size, but none of them fit the same.

        They can't get it right.

        • +1

          I concur.

        • If they all fit exactly the same then we wouldn't need different styles.

It's giving choice to wear different fabrics, elastic, no elastic, tight, loose, low, high and room for junk.

        • @jeworge:
I have two different versions of the micro fibre ones (Microfibre Guyfront Trunk), coloured and striped, the striped ones are new (recently released) and they are way tighter than the coloured ones. They aren't even different styles.

By different styles, it's only really the material I'm talking about. The "type" of underwear is actually the same. So your point is lost I'm afraid. I'm only talking about Guyfront Trunk, Micro Fibre and other material.

        • @nismo: Materials make a difference in the sizing even with the same style I did mention fabrics above I think. The properties of the different materials make a big difference especially to something you wear against your skin. This has been my past experience selling underwear.

I'm quite particular about it myself, which is why with the inconsistency I've experienced I'm trying other brands like the Tuffy & Tuffetts made in Aus.

          @jeworge:

Ok, but I am specifically talking about how it fits at the waistline point only - where the elastic is. I don't see why a Bond's M should be any different in size at the waistline (to another Bond's M), otherwise what's the point of sizing and labelling if they are different within the same brand ?

        • @nismo: I don't know, sounds like quality control issue to me then. I stopped buying Bonds now since they moved manufacturing overseas, my old trunks and my newer trunks don't match in quality.

I'm talking about the same style, material but different colours, it's a shame.

FYI, just back from Target. Bonds site sizes are the ones to go by.

As nismo says above fit varies between styles of the same size.

  • Code works on bonds only?

    • Nah code works on all clothing, shoes accessories & Homewares :)

  • what are target threads like these days?

    • I bought some shorts a couple of months ago and found the quality as good as anything from Just Jeans or Jeanswest.

    • they have some great clothes. really nice stuff I have found, and great prices when on clearance.

  • The Targat Full Hd Dash Camera is $39.00, but it doesn't get good reviews.
However it's easy to return if you are not happy with it, unlike buying from China.
