    Saw this at Costco yesterday - Panasonic 50" TH-50A430A $549.97 http://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/39370/29449/image.jpg if you are on the hunt for a cheap spare TV.

    I really need a new TV and have been searching for a deal for a short while.

    Just seams like Costco is too much effort, too far away, membership, having to put on pants to enter the store…

    Just want a deal like this to be local or be able to be shipped.

    Argh, been looking for this TV for ages. Super cheap price. Sydney ≠ Tasmania however, so will be waiting a little while longer. :(

    Does anyone know where to get this TV either instore or online, I can't seem to find anywhere?

    I have a feeling Costco is dropping Panasonic, or their TVs at least. At Ringwood yesterday the 50" unit mentioned mentioned in the first comment and another 50" unit were both on '.97' special and those were the only two Panasonic TVs they had. Given the one above at Casula also has a price ending in .97 it seems like they are trying to empty out Panasonics at all Costco stores (although that is only 3 data points).

      Yep I can confirm this. Just got home from Auburn and couldn't see any. I even had the green light from the FC and all!!

      I woke up early and went to casula even tho i live in granville. I got last one on shelf. It had a massive box and weighed over 35kg and i had to take out of box and struggled to get it in my golf. Great tv so far very happy after returning a few tvs before this one.
